Part of it being behind is that we have mayors that have never been before unsure of how it works but also never asked for help. This includes how to properly select buy order materials and how to plan stations properly.
They don't understand 100% how the buildings piece together and it takes extra time, some put bad buy orders that are impossible to do.
Stations are placed in nodes together that.. probably shouldn't be and that makes it difficult for progress and ease of the player.

Also, in many cases, mayors care more about the clout of being mayor than actually developing the node.

My GM became a mayor and he went to talk with the other mayors and was put in an awkward position because the mayors so far didn't communicate and he was really confused lol

@wary mason this bug report has already been made but the Miraleth node can't level to town and there is a bug where if you craft two service buildings of the same type all the vendors get bugged as well. We need this fixed so we can craft the higher end radiant gear that requires a grand master station

Miraleth seems to be crashing the game. I've tried getting in twice now. Disconnected from server first time without being able to reconnect. Had to log on a character in anvils then back into main character, where I logged back in on the outskirts of Miraleth's influence.

Second time I made it into Miraleth, but as soon as i entered town square, game froze and crashed.

There are no planned wipes until beta or full release. Regular restarts and cleaning their database is planned though. Can't find a ton of information on the database clean up but a post from Steven said it would take a day or 2. Could have been an old post

The issue isn't that pvp is happening, the issue is getting killed when we aren't flagged for pvp. Some players have found annoying ways to glitch and cheat to flag other players while they are farming mobs and thats the issue. I do love the flagging system and not being able to constantly get wrecked as a low level like last phase lol I don't flag unless I am intentionally planning some pvp so I can gather or play in peace. Its unchecked by default, look over all the pvp settings ingame to see if they can help you out. Its not a bug or glitch. You just havent read all you can.

PvP guilds are a mixed bag for me. You have some that will attack some non-flagged players... if the players fight back, PvP is on and everyone gets bragging rights at the end of the battle.
Then others attack players, players dont want to engage so they run or dont fight back, and the PvP guild kills anyways.
In one of these ways tje guild is using the game to engage PvP with others to test skill.
To me, the other method, is just being a bully and making someone play with you because nobody else will.

I think Ashes has lots of room for Black Sails and such, but the guild mates that dont realize their guild is mostly 18+ just wiped a 12 year old trying to play a game, and then they get exicted and brag about it.

I like the Duel System a lot. MAGA mates have challenged me to duels as opposed to just randomly attacking me. I accept, and when they realize they out match me, they call the duel off. Yes, been dealing with that myself. The solution I found was to take those to your personal storage, throw them in with right click, and they start stacking again. Still, annoying

Just so all of you know, FatalSyndicate the Joeva mayor is going to delete all of the buildings soon to "focus on general crafting for new players".
