There isnt atm as they haven't been implemented, do the questline up until you reach around 6-7 then your are on your own pretty much, complete your divinity path, do commissions and farm mobs in POI's, help with settlement levelling (joeva ;))

And yeah building up settlements will give more quests

so more insentive to do so

Hello! I notice a lot of people hangout in the Joeva lake waiting for the sportfishing event to spawn. My wife and I found this video uploaded yesterday going over past testing people did, and it seems that the events get bottlenecked at other lakes that people aren't aware of, and thus never rotate back to Joeva as the event stayed frozen with no chum to start the timer.

Just another example of why the corruption system sucks. All we need is punishment for killing players of a significantly lower level, other PvP should be fair play. Right now there's more incentive to just let yourself get killed, then come back and fight rather than fight back in the first place.

I'm not saying PKers should go entirely unpunished, but there's better systems that aren't as exploitable as this. Like ArcheAge had a good system where a crime committed could be reported netting you crime points, then if you died with a certain amount of crime points you got sent to court where 5 player jury decided whether you're innocent or guilty and how severe your punishment should be.

The punishment in question being jail time, which sent you to prison you could escape from, but the prison debuff remained which prevented you from using any skills or doing anything, really. Seen punishments as bad as 20h for pirates. It sucks just the right amount for a punishment that might still be worth the reward for getting those crime points in the first place.

Risking your gear getting dropped, at honestly a crazy high chance if you don't have a cleric friend rez it away, would never be worth a crate or a grindspot or whatever else you'd be fighting for. And taking away that natural conflict removes a lot of thrill from the game.

I think a jury system could work well here with the nodes. Wonder if it's patented to ArchAge or sth 🤔

Despite the bleeting kiddos' claims, we've always been pro supporting other guilds spreading out and claiming territory for the health of the server - more opportunities for PvP encounters and reasons to defend other settlements (rather than repeating the last phases of all snowballing towards one place)

Anvils is fab but for new players it's a bit rough and solo players or peeps who's guilds are quiet. You will need to plan and babysit runs for them to get them over the hump of level 10

The RP is meant to be placated accross multiple towns of the riverlands, and reach a wide audience than can engage in the upcoming event.

I can also confirm that the coalition behind this "anonymous" rp post doesn't include Hentai that we did not talk to, but a different set of guilds and unaffiliated players, some of whom are actully inside the "grimwood" guild itself.

Removing the post from the "official" tenok server is really misguided, it was posted only once to engage with as many players as possible in a RP way and build towards an upcoming event and content.

Hey everyone, I bought the game today and for almost an hour I am trying to play it. Crashed a few times during shaders compilation, then I had some freezes on the main menu before shard selection. After that I spent like 20 minutes trying to connect to Tenok, while the queue is 0. After that my game crashed on character select a few times (during character render/race selection). After that I was unable to connect to the server, an indefinite black screen.

Am I the only person experiencing this issues or I have low performance hardware ? I have a Ryzen 5800x + RX 6700XT, 32 GB RAM.

Not really, there is some occasional campaigning happening in global chat but honestly, mayoral elections are entirely gatekept by larger guilds.
Since there's no penalty, delay or real cost to changing citizenship either, in theory the largest zerg guild could decide who's mayor in every node.

it's not only about the discord drama but a just a consequence of the root causes that we have proclaimed,

the hegemon might not be legitimate as the will of the creation is to spread and repopulate Verra, not to manufacture a hegemon bypassing the in game limitations and progress curves (You need guild exp, you need alliances etc) in a obviously aggressive way and then cast aside anyone who is not part of it. We know why the limitation are there and we can bypass them but not in the aggressive way that was observed by certain organizations. We refer to this as "fractured banners" that do not have a valid casus bellis and are not grouned in divine law.

Anyways it's going to be some good content for everyone, and no one is forced to participate except for those who are directly involved and those who wants to play this content of course.

I'd happily 'just attack' if the game's PvP system wasn't so anti-PvP. As is everyone is looking for exploits and ways around it, and we're on the receiving end of those more than not. People taking off their gear and running into ongoing PvP fights, intentionally dropping low hp mounts into fights, using low level accounts to kill mules, sitting just outside guard range and baiting flags. We were the victim of all of those just yesterday, but we're the trolls for just wanting fair PvP fights?

Let me answer for you. You're not PvPers, you're trolls using an exploit to avoid repercussions of your actions. You want to curb stomp because its an easy win on lower levels but don't want the baggage attached to it

I'm not sure why you keep going on about a 10 level difference. There's no fight there if you don't want it, just fix your settings and you're in theory playing a PvE game. Might as well disable it all, not like you'll flag when you're 25 either, probably find another reason not to because PvPing is so toxic 🙁

Only reason I'd try to fight a lower level is if they have something I want and it should be fair to contest it. i.e. a tradepack or a grind/gather spot.
