People are expecting up to carphin 2.0 levels of deletion to happen in the coming days. But for a much bigger scope. There is also the exploit of Joeva buff stacking crafting quality. Leading to extreme levels of quality for crafts. So those might get nuked who knows.

Yet at the same time it's basically always a one shot fest / aoefest anyways, so... rdps just always outperforms for a variety of reasons

But you combine there being 0 difficulty with getting & staying in melee, almost all melees playing like yeet assassins in mmo's (in regards to dps/even bruisers, not taking tanks into consideration) and low ttk's and the inherent aoe problems of large scale and there's basically no way to ever have melee in a good place when mmo's are designed as they are / as long as mmo's refuse to fix standard longstanding problems. Even if it becomes blatantly overtuned in damage it's still a joke without general game changes for most mmo's (namely for mid/large scale)

Outside of some wow arena stuff I don't think that I've ever had any issues with staying on a target / having almost full melee uptime whenever touching melee in like... Probably over 10 years at this point? In regards to their mobility/cc vs <insert melee class> anyways, obviously in like RvR melee uptime is an issue for other reasons
