It’s good in PvE, but the problem with this is that it’s easy to just sit on 10 stacks of resonance before combat even starts in PvP, and the TTK is so low in ZvZ that it’s easier to just sit in the back dancing your way back to 10 stacks and then hitting someone with your longbow than actually putting a rotation on someone where you’re at risk of being chain pulled

had a few friends quit the game in p2 because they finally got the gear they wanted and had nothing else to grind for. The low end crafting right now is too expensive in terms of time/benefit and the high end crafting isn't compelling enough to stick through a long grind which gets circumvented by gold farming.

The endgame/final tier crafting needs to be gated by something that can't be bought other than time invested by the player.

The early game crafting is worthless. Idk why the materials are so high for lower level gear. It gets replaced immediately and has zero actual value.

Putting the material requirement to like 2-3 of each thing would do zero harm to the game.

By the time you craft all lvl 10 gear, you could be 25 with full radiant

Having basic gear be easy to craft while high end gear takes longer would be a good move.

Like crafting erenor gear from AA, takes months to get a full set and then even longer to work it up. Granted it is full end game gear, but it was worth it in the end.

There should be an incentive to craft everything, as it stands now, pretty worthless.

I’m also all for a little blurb on the item saying “crafted by”, I have always thought that was a good thing to have on everything.

It takes like 15 minutes max to gather the materials for thornbound weapons. If they can’t handle that, this isn’t the game for them. It actually takes longer processing the materials than it does gathering them.

Unless we’re talking about making high rarity 13s, which is just not smart for weapons you’ll replace for 23s by the end of this week.

You make grey/green 13s, green/blue 23s, and save your high tier mats for 26/29 weapons. I didn’t think it was that complicated?

If they had gear for each level in each crafting tier and then higher tier crafters can make better base stat gear, I think it would be better.

For example, if an apprentice could craft shitty radiant gear, it would feel less of a waste than spamming lvl 1 gear that you drag drop. If that makes sense?

I have one mage in my static, summs use lightning, so from my experiences, one lightning, one chilling, and one flame is a net positive.

The “math” only works between three stationary points and breaks down the second it is 8v8 because I know for a fact no 8 man stacks (not ones that live long at least.)

Partially. Just straight up you will nerf the ever living shit out of your mages dps profile because you want to cleave with book. Also because you will be autoing with book you are now in a closer position for a tank pull + other long range autos (which you can’t retaliate against because you have a book). Also damage wise since book is meant to cleave you literally do less per auto than you would just using a longbow. Even wand is better because it has higher single burst.

So, Im just going to say this one thing cause i dont think ive seen it talked about before. Srix and Aura claim the caravans circumvent the raid group and xp penalties. It seems like you guys are saying everyone in the caravan event shares xp? and thats just not true. Each group would still get their own XP, It just helps with flagging settings to not kill eachother, which has been done by every group of players since phase 1. Having everyone in the same guild would also do the same exact thing to the pvp flagging settings.

Groups do not share xp or loot even if they are in the same event so im not sure what the argument is there. Hope this helps 🙂

The caravans allow for polar 1-17 to group together effectively creating an unlimited size raid group...ignoring multi-guild friction...and not having the associated raid group penalties.

Im not sure arena of words is the best place to go for useful comments, but it works.

The server you choose should be what you enjoy about the game tbh, not necessarily strictly the pop. I think the pop difference between shol, resna, and Lyneth is fairly negligible. The server stability doesn't seem that way, though, with most problems that I've seen coming from shol and lyneth.

Resna is the guild drama and pvp server. Shol are the people that dodged those people and the pve steam dads. Lyneth are the furry streamer followers. Vyra is dead on arrival.

We've killed a ton of mobs in the area, and nothing has really progressed. Don't really know how to progress them. Can't do half the shit in the upper left. The spreading from pvp and contracting from pve isn't in, either, but we knew that.

It's currently just a zone with mobs, no nameds or anything, that permanently flags you (potentially fixed bug. unsure if it has been fixed. super annoying.)
