Something that everyone here does that I doubt 99% have had dedicated practiced to improve on would be mouse movement, key input efficiency and how to actually look at stuff with purpose on your monitor. I personally have practiced countless hours stretching my hand across certain lengths of the keyboard for quick inputs, I’ve practiced accurate and intentional keystrokes (not spamming buttons until cooldowns are up but actual timing inputs. Some games will actually give you faster action if you’re not buffering inputs). I’ve practiced moving my mouse in each quadrant of my monitor with sensitivity EVERY SINGLE GAME since sens is different for games. Along with countless other things that pertain to even using a computer. I use to have a 144gwam with 98% accuracy when I was in middle school there was that much effort into stuff like this. These basic skills people don’t practice and that leads to inconsistency when going into different games. I can very quickly adapt to different games and their controls because I have built a solid foundation of dedicated practice.

The Carphin event was the exact same thing it was for two other phases, like the Polar peeps said. It was reported that it might be giving too much loot. It was ignored. It wasn't farmed a lot in previous phases BECAUSE there were better ways of getting gear. All of those better ways are gone in p3. Carphin became the main.

Polar did not exploit; This was reported months ago. It was not fixed. Therefore, there was absolutely no way of them knowing it wasn't working as intended. Ya'll need to let this one go.

I didn't say it was harder, I said it was difficult. I've played with a top percentile wow raider in ffxiv and they said the difficulty is comparable but ffxiv's mechanics are harder because they're designed for an 8 man rather then a 24. Also, ultimates on tier are comparable to mythics I've been told

ultimates are close to mythic first like 6 bosses but pale in comparison to final 2 bosses in most WoW tiers imo

I also did a little bit of raiding in dragonflight and the regular raids for dragonflight were so incredibly free that I was disappointed, so iunno, I think normal wow raids are easier then ffxiv's savage, 100%

WoW raids are made with mythic first and they remove mechs and make it easier as they go down so anything sub heroic isnt a challenge to most and even then its mainly final boss on heroic but even then not very hard

parsing in wow is not an indication of skill though, especially the older versions that they played in. Its mostly about having the time and patience to research all the gimmicks to optimizing a comp, taking turns so that each person has optimal conditions to parse, etc. parses are extremely gamified.
