I would suggest leaving the area and go to another zone (server worker) until the server restarts. People reported that getting into proximity of your clone can cause all kind of issues.

@sharp stone impressions mean a lot and speak waves. I am not sure any developer that would take this much negatively and ignore it like Intrepid does. I think its time to do a review or something. The quality of alpha and the state of it is only decreasing with each update and change. I hope this improves but its looking like a very very grim tale. As a studio I hope the team and Steven take a step back and sit down and realize they have something with great protentional but we don't want the NEXT BIG UPDATE we want the we fixed game breaking bugs, we have improved the quality of the game. Whole point of an Alpha is to work out the bugs not everyone that purchased the game to work out the bugs wait in line to join a PTR when all the servers should be a PTR. That just gives people the impression that this is the released product. Someone needs to rethink their strategy cause that is a bad one. Servers need wiped before absolutely any patch is added to ensure the data is clean when applied and don't end in corruption.

The live game is literally the Alpha, I don't understand. The PTR just exists to test updates in a more "safe" environment, but the main game is still going to be a buggy mess because it's being actively developed. I'd rather this stuff be happening now, than when they get to beta or later. It's going to be a rough experience for the next year or more, if you don't like the idea of playing through that and helping identify the weak points, then you should come back to the game at a later time.

Lets get back to the real focus of the Alpha and backup the servers, wipe the servers and add the patches. If stuff is broke reload the old server till they figure it out and do it again. If you come into the alpha wanting a more polished game with tonnes of content and fully working systems, youll just be disappointed.

The mount is available, and has always been available since early access launch. You need to report a substantial, repeatable bug. If they need to stress test something, and use a mount skin as a incentive, they will do so. Some people will be working, out of town, whatever it may be. This time suited the studio as most people are in. Unless your suggestion is for them to do overtime or out of hours, so people can get their mount. It seems you're just a tad emotional, somewhat understandbale, that you didn't get your mount from the PTR test. I get the frustration, but they cannot do it at a time that pleases EVERYONE. testing the game right now is most important, not ensuring everyone gets a mount. Like i said though, it has, and always has been obtainable, it's not a one off for the 3 hours, which you seem to think it is 🙂

Have you tried relogging or restarting the game? Could be the perma-pvp bug where your pvp flag (purple icon) never goes away. Other than that, I think there's a setting to make your pvp flag button a toggle instead of a hold, might want to check that?

No, unfortunately you don't seem to understand. You're underestimating what actions like this can compound to over time. This is a test indeed, but it's a paid one. People are invested in the game (emotionally and time-wise) otherwise you wouldn't have anyone to test the game with. Especially when you're literally selling the test access.

You're assuming a lot of the factors that you yourself don't know ("and needed it done asap i assume", you assume?) just so you can defend the team. You're defending their actions where you yourself don't know why it's done that way. This is equivalent to making things up. You're doing a disservice to the team if you're fighting such feedback written on this channel. You really don't have to do that. Just let things be.

There are a ton of information and data points from this channel alone that can create various tasks for the team to focus on. I write it here, because the feedback channel is restricted and requires account linking which I haven't done. I'm not sure why that's required to post feedback, but here we are. I'm giving my own free time to write feedback, after paying to participate in the test. I write bug reports, I discuss things as I see fit in the most time-friendly way possible for me.

I think the wider point Warriorporky was making is that dev feedback is more useful being posted in the appropriate channel. If I was them, I wouldn't be looking for bug reports in the guild recruitment channel, for example. This channel, from what I see, is more geared towards helping newcomers with whatever they need, like directing them to the #read-me-first channel to link their discord to get access to all of the appropriate channels.
If you're uncomfortable with linking, or just don't want to, that's cool, but please recognize that you're not using all of the tools that they're trying to give us. As an engineer, if I gave users a particular tool or method of doing something, but they refused to use it, I'd be a little miffed about it, honestly.

The feedback is valid, but it may be more useful being posted in the appropriate sections.

I didn't comment on your original message. I understand the frustration with the mount skin during the test and all that. Personally, it doesn't bug me, but I get it.

I just try to point folks in the right directions, as I understand them. The comments about the game being dead/cooked/etc also just get tiring. This aint the game for everyone, and a lot of folks seem to tie player population and engagement directly to success, regardless of the fun lots of others have with it (my opinion)

Honestly, all the job drama doesn't concern me one way or another. I'll be disappointed if the game ends up failing, I dropped $150 during the original kickstarter for it, and I've been overall enjoying what I've played in all the alpha phases so far. But I realize that it was an iffy "investment" and had a good chance of never working out positively.

Also, I don't think I've ever seen Steven or "high level" leadership respond in these channels. It's usually Ren or Vaknar that responds with something like "we've passed along that message"

But I also questioned some of the decisions they were taking (even just earlier today). I wanted it to be better, but it doesn't seem like this will be a thing now, unless a deal comes along at a later point. We'll have to wait for the official announcements about all this now.
