Because death in Ashes comes with consequences, a good tank is a gem. Bad tanks wipe groups when they rawr in and are not paying attention. Not everyone can be a good tank.

the most stable way is probably crate running, imo between starter areas. with 3 crates, it takes 5 mins to run between avens end and briarmoor and the revenue after fees is roughly 55 silver, more depending on crate rarity

Crashing after a few min could mean a heating issue. Check your fans and make sure you are not crashing because of this.

I want to say I found the issue. I think. I haven't crashed yet. I closed a few things on task manager and limited my fps to 60. Before that I was almost passing my memory now I'm at 11.9 memory usage instead of the almost 15.9 gb. I might need to up my ram to 32 gb.

There seems to be very few 1 star mob camps in the 19-22 range and level 25's sit on them to farm glint/ gear for gold.

Yes. Some are more populated than others, some have queues during primetime. Besides that there is only the choice between US and EU.

Anvil is the fastest to get to 10 imo solo but from there it gets bad for solo players

Anvils is a tough place to start. Its not as developed as the river lands. Mostly its commission quests from the towns, and then find an area with some peeps and hop into a group

• do the things in your destinies to get a first look into a lot of systems
• visit a town for commission boards if you need some guided things to do, there are several ones with different types of simple quests

There are more quests around, but you have to find them. Check your quest item bag

you can do a lot of things to get xp, not only grinding. Crafting gives decent xp too, but grinding in groups at some grinding spot is the most efficient. And yaeh, there is no zone by zone quest structure right now

If you add the concept and design phase, creating a company, finding people to hire and all those things, 10 years is not that long + Games got more complicated since that time.

Depends on what armor set you're talking about. Problem is a lot of the armor sets in the game can be very difficult to craft because you need region-specific materials, sometimes you need a crafting station in that region, you need to find the recipes, etc., so it's a big commitment to craft and sell specific sets

Anvils just doesn't have many people up there, so chances of people having the recipes and crafting the armor is pretty low, and it's also generally not worth it as a crafter to make adept armor because radiant gear will sell for more

PTR is where they push builds that they need specific testing of. Often we are able to boost toons to lvl 25 and professions to max. It is also a place to make sure a build they want to use on live, doesnt explode and cause big issues. It also gets wiped basically daily. It is very common to use PTR to do these things since doing that on live servers would not be smart.

Have you tried validating the files?

If that doesn’t work, try to go the ashes folder where you installed the game and go into the dictory were eac is at there would be an install.bat executable. Run that and try afterwards.

Its early access testing, so things are just placeholders more or less. This test is most for repetative tasks, checking how leveling works and questing a bit etc... not the full game. If you want to participate and look for things to report to help it being fixed, there is a lot to do. If you want a game to play, it´s not where we are now.

I would say the crafting is interesting but needs lots of work. Gathering is wider than normal and level based. There are much to look for and pick up, to then be made into resources to make parts for other crafts...such as flowers into thread...that you use in tailoring etc.

The gathering also needs work, but all and all, there is a good foundation.

I was having this problem, a black screen and the game crashing. I managed to solve it with Revo Uninstaller; I uninstalled the game through it, using the folder deletion tool. I reinstalled the game and it worked normally.

For sure, which is why developing the tools to detect the behaviour is so important, and which is part of alpha development. A few phases ago it was caravans with zoomies. This is the first phase the bots have been so bad tbh. Its something new they have discovered. Which is what is taking so long to patch up.
