I think some of the devs and game runners forget that if you turn off playerbase initially you cant really recover them. Lack of servers and jamming people in, lack of contingencies on server merging. Rushing out a patch that "fixes" things that you then have to repatch on a saturday night because it borked the servers totally.

New world had these kinds of issues, the devs and leaders didnt handle them well and the game tanked.

Bliz has dropped servers and rolled back at incredibly ignorant times of the evening as well. But it was for justified reasons. We don't know why the servers are coming down and what is being fixed, but I am sure they are smart enough to know dropping the servers on a Saturday night when its the most opportune for the majority of the player base to be online they better have a good reason.

Some mages like longbow for the higher stat. I personally love shortow because if a bard pops mana regen on hit, the attack speed brings all of it back. should also be applying the debuffs as well, faster attack speed, higher debuff uptime with elemental empowerment

Yea I have only played characters to level 5 so far (only started 2-3 days ago) and I love the way mage plays in action targeting mode, but its a little lame having to constantly run away from everything. Thought maybe heavy armor and a shield would at least let me face-tank mobs instead of all the running.

Eu and NA would depend on your location. Ideally where you are located would determine how well it runs for you. Boats allow you to fish High reward fish, but also can be attacked and lose it. You can make a boat from the start if you know how. The caravan simlar use it to transport massive amount of cargo, which yields higher reward for cast value, but can be raided by other people.

Use the auto attack settings. After first arrow fired or first spell cast against the target it will just do it for you. That at least saves your one wrist. Gotta just deal with the pain on the mouse hand for now

so far every patch since steam release has required me to validate files and reaquire up to 11 damaged files before playing, i wonder why the download process always fails like that

lol buddy its an "alpha" as people keep saying to justify this stuff. whats the point of alpha? to give feed back. and what better place to give feed back, than the discord with new players joining. the feed back is, it doesnt matter how good the game is. if the company that is promoting is shooting themselves in the foot with simple routine mistakes.
