I have a big rig and I had to set my settings to things like not ultra and play with others. Cranked the resolution but reduced things like view distance and global illumination. Other settings too. Getting 100fps in busy areas.

It's amazing for group pvp/pve so the rank makes sense for that type of content. I've been mass pulling mobs and aoe grinding them and healing up at the same time. It's not too bad if you aoe but the single target is actually horrendous. The 1v1 pvp is fun because you have decent sustain but it just takes forever to do anything by yourself. If you want to turn your brain off just reroll as a tank and you'll be more tanky and do more damage than most classes (at least early on) because of your health/damage scaling.

im similar, i enjoy forging equipment for people who enjoy combat lol, you will have the workstation that will show you what you can craft, then you will have the vendor sat next to them, i did a quest line that got my to craft a backpack, but its not very clear as a quest as it doesnt show where specific items are, just to buy them or find them.....at the moment im cooking fish i have caught to level cooking exp, if you want to hunt its a bit wierd, but walk up to a mob with a green scope like icon and press "f" (default)...things you are to level for you need to increase that specific level to gather/mine whatever it is

Ive been defending these devs and this game for a long long time. I just cant do it anymore. They shit the game out too early on steam because they prob ran out of money and charging gamers 55$ for an unplayable game is all they can do at this point. I dont think I've ever seen a launch fail so badly.

That because each area has its own player cap, the start with all new players will have a que once you explore you won't have much of a que. Think of an area title. Only so many people can fit in a title.

You need to find a wolf that has a white little circle over it. That means it’s hunt able. Not a specific named one. Then you pet it to death. Then, maybe it drops a trainable version.

If you're on steam, watch your "playtime". Even when just the launcher is open, time is ticking. Careful not to hit that 2hr refund window while trying to troubleshoot your connection. I just refunded mine after seeing Error Code 34 for 118 minutes, trying every client-side fix in the book between reboots. 99.99% of the problems are server-side. If you can't connect before that 2hr window, best to just refund and save your time and money, buy the game again when its out of early access

glad you mentioned T&L too - I learned about the open world dungeons being areas where pvp is allowed as well, and I got vietnam flashbacks to the T&L world bosses where there were like 30 guilds ganking you and you'd die in 2 seconds if you even got 50 ft away from the boss.

I think they're shooting themselves in the foot calling this "Early Access." This is more like, "Hi, you paid $50 to be our new QA department. Thank you for your service." Early Access to me means a relatively finished and polished game that just needs a few bugs worked out.
