Bought the Game at exactly 1:00pm on the 11th and still at this time I have nort been able to log into game. The incompetence of the devs who run this shitshow is amazing! Que wait times are right at 11 hours if at que 1000 or more. There is no excuse for this, and the excuse that this is an unfinished product doesn't cut it. If that's the case then it should not have been released! Thank god since I have not even gotten in the game but they have charged me 7 hours of play time, I was still able to get a refund! I’ve been following this game for about four years, and now that it’s finally possible to play without paying over 100 dollars, I’m really glad to test it. I don’t mind waiting through queue fixes if needed. I’m definitely not joining the negative Steam comments. People who are upset now will likely return once the game reaches its peak anyway. I’m happy they released it on Steam, because it will bring in many new players for large scale testing, and that kind of feedback matters much more than complaints from a small group of dissatisfied users.

Oh, I see. You are not quite sure how game development works. You see, when you create a game, like the actual gameplay portion of it, to get it to the point where people can actually login to play you have to implement a system for that. So you create the login system that ultimately includes various facets including servers, authentication, etc. But you have to account for things like player volumes, but also that costs money to expand on. So you wait to see how much expanding needs to be done and/or system tweaking can mitigate the issue so money isn't wasted on unecessary systems.

For those still stuck in queue, this has been my experience this morning. I was in queue for hours. Finally got in and a bug that prevented me from getting off the mount required me to restart the game. First few times the bug hit me I was able to jump straight back in without a queue. Then another "bug" hit me where the game kicked me out, and I've been in queue again ever since. Even if you get in, and avoid the mount bug, everyone is fighting over the same few mobs to complete the starter quests. Unless you are the highest DPS you don't get credit for the kill so healers and support are all stuck unable to progress. Might have to wait a month and try again.

If you're logged into the game website, AND logged into the steam webpage (yes webpage, app can still be running), then launch the game client, then it should give you a link to link your steam and intrepid accounts. Because you have them BOTH open already in your browser, it should detect the sessions and give you the option to link the accounts. At least that's how I did it last night. Also if you see "localhost:3000" in the URL, replace it with "ashesofcreation.com" It's hacky, but it worked for me. Good luck.

If you are truly unhappy about something they hopefully will have fixed soon, then just ask for a refund dude.
