I was under the impressing that Shol was the "best" server. After re-rolling here... it is full of just horrible egotisical players. Players being multiple levels below the minimum requirements (lvl 7s asking for Oakbane, 13s asking for RoS, 12s SB), and defending their ability to do the content that we ALL KNOW they can't do - they do like 10% damage to the mobs. Where did this ego come from? Playing on other, newer servers, this behavior doesn't exist. Can we make an effort as a community to correct these players? to snuff out their behavior and not enforce it via "he's in my guild" or the like.

For real though, its no wonder why there is such a bad botting and RMT issue. The amount of effort it takes to make money in the game isnt proportional to the risk invovled in just doing RMT.

I sell cannabis, you should see how much people spend for just a night of enjoyment. RMT is pocket change compared to that.

This issue only gets resolved by a cash shop with tradeable in game items (like cosmetics or game time tokens) and an economy not designed around no lifers.

crafting bad, I am JM on 3 and I hate doing it, so expensive and just evaporates my gold. Im not a gold farmer and I just fish but its so punishing. Makes it hard to gift friends and guild members scrolls and things because of the costs get astronomical. Im fine with needing 120 flower, 40 ruby and 8 fine ass paper for a SINGLE scroll, but who tf am I paying 25 silver to when I am WRITING that shit myself.

Well fortunately for you builds for cleric are fairly simple. I wouldnā€™t worry about it too much until you get to a higher level. Iā€™m a cleric main and as long as your party is staying alive through everything itā€™s fine. That being said you should get bless weapon and the perks for it asap. Also HoT with soothing glow, communal restoration and defiant light are very nice to have. Donā€™t worry about judgement unless youā€™re snap casting with the divine essence and you need a big heal when somebody is about to die. Use Deliverance instead of judgement, cheaper and spam able. I use mend but only when Iā€™m topping people off, the travel time can get people killed if you arenā€™t careful

Purify is a must have later and only use your smite when the burn stacks on enemies is like 20+ so the conflagration hits harder

Use wings of salvation to break yourself out of stun effects. When you use divine flare try and place it so the tank gets the full healing. When friendlies are in the circle it splits the healing up

#

Deliverance is my go to healing ability. Donā€™t be afraid to pop defiant light on the tank if your healing is struggling to keep up, itā€™s the best HoT and it scales the lower hp they have if I recall correctly

Well... this means winstead was either mismanaged or the system itself is too expensive.

Perhaps there are aspects of the settlement that may need to be removed to reduce the burden on an underpopulated town. As inconveient as it may be to do so.

Its definitely been complained about before. Joeva will have endless money, miraleth usually has good money, and na or Winstead gets good money depending on how large the guild ownership/alliance is

So, that is sorta of to be expected. Two towns should really dominate in ideal circumstances, Joeva and Miraleth.

As these are the towns people get syphoned to first. I know on this map atleast, things started in a way to that dumped everyone in joeva for a good bit.

I would expect though two twons to dominate, and smaller towns to border them, with the primary two become closer to kingdoms with the border towns being just behind them.

Territory control is something that does interest me but right now its kinda more flavor text. But unless a HUGE guild takes over a frindge settlement, the starter towns will always end up taking over.

Its one of the few social aspects that actually matches real world civilization development.

Now if i can just get these MMO players to stop trying to make prices universal and understand that resources should vary in value based on location and travel time.

Some of you need to go play some bannerlord, see what trading is supposed to look like, and you will see just how much money is being lost and how hard gatherers are being screwed over by this universal market pricing ideology.

The quests kind of end around level 9, there are still some that can be stumbled on while exploring but most of the quests aren't released due to lore and such so...farming mobs, gathering, or crafting is the best 3 ways remaining for you to choose from to level further

Ahhhh, yearp. A polar group was helping bug test world bosses and that ran right into the sieges. I was happy to see yall out there. It was good fun tbh. The KT one was a bit of a steam roll, but the joeva one we did before that was really good pvp content. It's crazy how much better PTR runs and feels outside of a few outliers. I'm sure the PTR streams are nice now that it is no longer visual NDA.

The main polar competition either died, got banned, or a mix of both. Aura dead. Vice gone. EBC gone. Amnesty and Anvils wrong side of the world. Overmeta only farms gold to rmt. Purple are active but smaller scale.

There's just no server wide pvp left that comes close to competition for the guild.

Shol will be a lot more fun fighting down in gear and even levels, potentially, and there are guilds that will actually show up to pvp events/sieges. Looking forward to the content and having fun out there with everyone.

It's hard to justify bringing a fighter into really any scale when tanks are so good currently. If all fighters and rogues were tanks that static/raid/guild/etc is far scarier. We'll be punching up as people have played on the server for a month and a half, so we can't really afford to troll.

I have yet to play fighter (I started last phase on cleric and now I'm on bard), but I've heard that it feels really good to play. It's a shame that it doesn't really have a role currently in large scale pvp. Pve they're insane grinders, though. They can do a lot of pulls and hit insane xp that other archetypes can't.

honestly if it's not group v group over a farming spot or something the open world pvp is normally a group jumps you and you die, boats die too fast to get a group to go try to get it back, etc.. etc.. people un-stucking to drop corruption from killing crate runners. they need to add a bg so fights are more fun.
