I cant speak to the* second half of the question, but the server crashed in the last 30 or an hour. it was back up where i was, but i cant speak for all shards. currently, npc respawns are buggy, so if you are looking to do stuff in town, you are SOL for now

Thats steam. You'll download the actual size but steam hashes the entire game. Its why I stopped using path of exile on steam cause of the same issue. Im sad that ashes is now gonna have the same thing with every patch.

Yea seems like something weird is going on with the queue though. Can log on at newb area without any issue after making a new character...but my main in squalls end is not able to beat the queue boss for 3 horus and there is no way there are 150 people in squalls end.
