Its a problem with the login server, not the actual servers. probably wouldnt have been able to anticipate the issue before it happened, otherwise it would have been a quick fix

I mean until we started messing with plugins in OSRS the inactivity timer was set at 5 minutes believe it was shorter if you go back far enough. We also had an evil chicken killing people for standing around too long. If you're AFK log out, you aren't playing.

@celest shale the queue isn't a bug it's apart ashes special server tech, the map is supported by a bunch mini servers called server workers each holding their own section if the map and queues are based on a per server worker basis so someone trying to load in on a server worker that only they are in the area will have no queue where the starting spawn server worker with so many people there and running around will have a queue

have they talked about how bad the lag is since moving to steam. POIs are the best places to get gear but you can;t play in them due to lag. My whole guild can't touch places like oakenbane. Not trying to gripe but the lag is horrendous lol.

Yeah anvil is a totally different experience I remember yesterday I thought I made a mistake starting in anvil took that long ass trip to river lands was lagging hard and went right back

it's so funny entering random groups who have never played an older school slow leveling system before complaining about grinding, like brother we're making 2.5k xp in a party of 6 every 2-3min, it's pretty damn good (lvl 8-10) 😆

I think we're pretty far off from them being a decent price due to how intensive crafting is, spent a ton of money just to get to lvl 4 weaponsmithing, the big guilds will definitely be the first to have those
