That's a hit on the hardcore tag, certainly. I've seen a handful of overlord, at most, and they are always sitting afk in town crafting.

ok, so that is all? it definitely depends on the person as to how hard core they are and what that definition is...some people feel that hard core has to fit a specific definition. The guild is working towards plans to achieve server first when possible and are strategizing? I don't see an issue with advertising that. PvX is just gameplay isn't it? or do you mean pvp and being competitive with other guilds because there is some of that now and will likely continue to grow as the game develops.

There are alot of players out there doing things other than crafting....I know I have an alt that stays in town and crafts.

I guess I don't give much judgement to guilds I don't know alot about based on advertisements

I think part of my issue is how some of the members have taken pvp as personal attacks and carry week long vendettas while spamming out in global chat and this discord. We can even look at the semi-recent occurance with Cheeks killing shibari/shibby as an example. If the guild embraces a PvX approach, they should know that pvp can happen in a PvX game. Take the hit on the chin and keep rolling.

The concensus in the guild was Vice is legit when it came to gear, just a shame our time zone doesn't exactly matches yours. But the most suspicious is people with Epic Rosethorn at 24% force to be the identifier.
Epic acadira although expense is realistically achieveable, our guild has crafted it but heroic is way more easier.

Do you think it was just the gold transfers to the RMT people for selling epic pieces?

Great showing at the siege today. It was chef's kiss seeing musicmaster log in after the siege had already started and x'ing up in shout chat for a defense raid inv. Sick coordination and planning from the new mayor and your alliance.

Invites were busted and some UI roster issues. Definitely a scuffed start but we had some great momentum at different parts of the fight. Everyone on our side had a blast, and it was fun wiping yall a couple times with our half PUG group.

Attackers have a solid team for sure with your predetermined 100 man. Excited for more fights and plans to come 💪

it was good fun, those fights with the wipes we split up and decided to just let each 40 ball fight vs your 80-100 raid for better content after we cancelled the market cap so we could get some more fights in. (we had 2 independent 40 balls and a 20 man rogue group). did that for a bit then recombined on the road near defenders camp (the one before we pinched the north gate).

Definitely some disparity in experience and gear, but we hope you all had fun, we did. We tried to make it some good content before the servers go down. The siege was much smoother than the last one and probably much better than the KT one also.

I'm very glad it turned into something that both sides could get some enjoyment out of ❤️
You can imagine, I have mixed feelings about the release of the first channel, but ultimately I think it turned out to be invaluable learning/practice for the NA side, and hopefully at least not a snooze fest to the attackers. I hope both sides saw that eventually, fights like that could evolve into higher and higher levels of competition which would push us and our teams more and more. No one enjoys one that can be won just by holding "W" idt lol.
In regards to smoothness of the siege, actually the server was by and large very smooth, with some isolated exceptions of a raider or two being sent to ruins of aela rofl. Our biggest hamstring was me not being fully set w discord perms or in game raid team assemblage when we began--which was a failure on my part exclusively. Its not an exaggeration to say that we did not have micros for the siege, and we mostly didnt have formed raids in game, and were missing 45 from even our raid comms.
As long as the server performance in sieges keeps getting better, I learn how tf to do the paperwork to have us ready, and the raiders from last night resume in game gearing, then I think we could perhaps have some really interesting fights ❤️

Verdix specialty is organizational things. Mine is hitting things w a firebolt. The problems w the NA def comms and in game raids to start was purely and soley on me (I was taking ownership of the siege as in theory it is to my specialty among our alliance). Verdi is the type that he would have had it done 24 hr ahead of time. My focus was overly on who we were going to be able to pull in, and what our strategies would be (how and were we move, where best targets would be, etc...), and because of that over focus I didnt give our comms enough attention. That mistake wont happen again!

Eh, communications and organization is warfare 101. Second is teaching the army to follow orders blindly without hesitation.

We have an IRL drill instructor in Violence that talks about it sometimes. Most of what they teach in the military applies to in game warfare pretty directly.

The siege was hella fun though. I can appreciate the over geared and obviously more organized attackers giving the defenders a chance by splitting up and canceling the channel. At the end of the day this is just a game, and the clear choices to make it more fun are appreciated.

You need to start forming your raid 30-45 mins before siege wind up, have everyone in disc by 10 mins before windup and use windup for other stuff.

Presort your lists and raids out of game so that when people ineveitably dont show (its going to happen) eveything is already sorted and its just a raid comp fill issue vs messy scramble

If you want it on steam, at this time, yes. There isn't any integration between current alpha testers and steam users. People who purchased on the website will use the base launcher. People who purchase on steam will use steam to launch the base launcher. Regardless of which method you use to launch the launcher, it will all be run on the same servers. I think they mentioned perhaps eventually doing steam keys to bring current alpha testers to steam, but that isn't available currently.

I really doubt it will help. The launcher is garbage, and steam will just launch intrepid's launcher. It wont change anything.

I've found entirely deleting the ptr and redownloading it from scratch to be quicker more times than not for patching.

I can confirm - I have deleted and recreated a character 3x and it keeps kicking me out at the same spot with an error "Connection to the Realm timed out" and when I attempt to reconnect, it will say "Cannot connect to server" or it'll put me in queue.
