It's not. Summoner is being released in November (hopefully) then once it's out they are doing a re-work to the original archetypes. Dual archetypes will come after that. My guess they won't release dual archetypes until March/April IMO.

Actual food requires poop to grow. And since you can't grow rarity to increase the xp like all the other processing professions (other than tanning), it is one of the most expensive to skill up (i.e. farming is). Cooking itself is very easy to level up so long as you don't actually make food and just vendor fillets.

Also like 20 gold to buy vendor reagents and process. It is doable but not the priority when every other profession is cooked.

That is for common bread mind. Given you need green salt from commission rewards (like 1 in 50 chance to drop) and green milk, 1 stack of green bread should only be about 1 gold cap cost.
