Raid groups were bugged and gave full experience for monster kills so they were running around in full raid groups getting party XP bonus for every monster kill.

They also abused bugs in the layering system to farm specific bosses in dungeons to get gear faster without replaying through the dungeon over and over again. Basically "Exploit early, exploit often." or "Cheat as much as you can for world firsts".

Relevant distinction then I suppose, exploiting is a broad category and I'd generally say should be distinct from cheating outside of particularly extreme cases like duplication bugs, bugged spawns, or things that are just so blatantly unintended and high-consequence that you may as well have console commands. Normal exploit abuse is also bad, and you're a shitter if you're doing it, but there are degrees.

Speedhacking, flyhacking, teleports, or all of the more subtle forms of cheating like xrays and statedits, RMT/black/grey market dealings, that's all 100% you're just cheating

Cooldowns on skills dont matter in bdo. only thing worth tracking is bsr and v's. youre talking about 1v1 pvp. what im mentioning is bg's or nodewars. depending on your class, all you do is chain superarmors during moveset to avoid getting knocked. If you're slow or misinput, you get punished hard. If youre good enough, you can easily 1vX groups of players which is nice.

In AOC none of that is possible, there isnt a single class in the game that can win a 1v3 vs bard and cleric no matter how good you are. The game doesnt allow you to due to, balancing and the amounts of CC they can apply. Which is both a good and bad thing...
