This rebrand doesn’t mean anything for the news or the paper, it’s only so that we can cover the realms as they get more numerous.
Lastly, we’re currently working on a Phase 2.5 write up! Those aren’t things they need the bring the realm down for though. They can look at logs in real time, even make a mirror copy of the world and spin up their own internal version to replicate bugs

I get that, but this phase was announced with 2 days down for patching and testing of the patch prior to reopening of the Alpha test server. Although they may not be pushing a patch through, especially these last 2 weeks, they still have that slated as their 2 internal days. Could they just leave it up? Sure but what if they need to push an update and decided to go back on it. They made a schedule, they're sticking to it regardless of the necessity. It's literally their world and we're being granted time to test it. This is not a game, this is literally a test environment, they dictated the rules and we get what time we have to assist. Calling the dev team lazy or other nonsense is not constructive by any means.

oh no, not you, just a lot of others. I can understand their frustration but again this was the plan from the beginning. That's why I'm hoping Phase 3 does actual go live on Aug 4th, that session promises 24/7, other than required downtimes for patching, which will be far better overall.

A carrier needs constant replenishment for food and parts to do its mission. They're within range of Chinese ballistic missiles well before they can launch aircraft. Carrier only works if it can launch and recover it's jets. And if the crew doesn't starve...which it will if they can't get a hit every 2 weeks.
Carrier is only useful if it can be protected lol China has toys.
