Thats not true, you 100% can feel it esp with movement abilities like charge from fighter or hold abilities like deliverence from cleric. Though overall its actually pretty good

@balmy spruce Levels shouldn’t be assigned arbitrarily as “you fight this at this level” imo. They have a level to give you an idea of the relative strength of the mob. A level 17 mob should be a relatively even fight for a level 17 player, skewed slightly in favor of the mob due to mobs inherently having higher stats, to account for the lack of intention that is inherent to a player; ie a mob can only target where you ARE, which makes it possible for players to dodge skills, whereas players are able to read those attacks, dodge accordingly and plan their own skills to account for enemy positioning. Mobs get stats, to provide even fights versus generally more skill players. All this to say, a level 17 player should need to work for it, but be fairly capable of killing a level 17 mob. Stars increase the difficulty incrementally, and as a result offer better rewards, more xp etc. Buy by attempting to increase the challenge even further by fighting mobs above your weight class, you should be rewarded, not penalized.

The thing about readding lawless to those zones is that they have nodes now, so youd have to make nodes safezones

I think outside the riverlands/starting areas places SHOULD be lawless till a node is built
Anvil/Riverlands/the other 2 starting zones i think they want on the eastern continent as safe areas then everything else is Lawless till its leveled up

yeah i dunno, ive always had the opinion that POIs and areas around world bosses should be lawless
maybe keep the riverlands/anvil for the starting zone (no lawless) and have the other biomes have lawless areas

Wonder how a timed lawless of zones would feel. Like every X hours or whatever a zone/POI becomes lawless, gets higher drop rates/rarities etc. When its not in the slotted time then mobs still exist just less drops etc

nah it was a certain time like peace for an hour, war for an hour ect. rotating slots
OR some zones you actually farm mobs/players (the kills push it from conflict to war time. )
