Find the balance for item drops and crafting that the devs can live with while also not making the players hate the system then expand on it. Just set out what Intrepid wants as the hierarchy of gearing , Example:

1. Crafting Wboss loot
2. Crafting Named mob loot
   3.) Wboss drops/Named mob drops = JM crafting
3. Apprentice Named mob crafts
4. Apprentice crafts
5. Lvl 10 drops
   Etc etc. and stick to the system they decide on. There should be a disparity between rarity tiers large enough for players to want to grind for said items. If the most I gain is .7 power on my character sheet then 99% of players aren’t gonna pay an extra 200g for that little of power gain. Also making enchanting worth a damn again, it was the only real gold sink we had

I want crafters to feel appreciated and validated because the artisan systems in ashes are genuinely very good imo and I love that they are a pillar of the game but I’ve barely touched them this phase because of how insane the material costs are. The economy in general is extremely awful. Day 3-4 we had green items going for 40g+. Hell people were selling the bugged scorpions for 120g+ day 3. Unless you’re running vans constantly or controlling a niche in the economy there shouldn’t be that much gold in someone bags that early in a phase. I’ve seen more gold thrown around before the servers been up for 2 weeks than I saw thrown around first 1-2 months of Vyra
