Hello, I have 1476 armor smithing buffed up with elixir and food, I attempted to craft a heroic Rosarium set last night using ashes forge calculator, plugged in my quality of 1476 and mixed and match green zinc/blue zinc with legendary rividium and half green otter leather with blue, this should of giving me heroic pieces going off calculator but when I tried in game the pieces where showing up as “rare” still, only way for me to get it to show up in game as heroic was only using blue mats with legendary rividium, is this a UI bug of some sort or are all the calculators broken for Rosa right now ?

In game preview is broken. If the calc shows it works it should go. However if you’re riding the minimums you may fail none of the calcs are perfect yet to my knowledge. Buffer a bit

So in order for me to turn that piece into heroic “in game UI display” I needed to use all rare materials(zinc,otter leather) and the legendary rividum, so basically if it shows as blue but on website heroic will it pop as heroic then?

Well that’s the thing I had to put full on blue mats to even get it to show as heroic, even if I replaced just 1 blue zinc plate with 1 green it would switch to “rare”

It was my first time really crafting a heroic set for my self so I was really worried I’d make a rare and waste the mats, but I’m just gonna go a bit more over like you said and attempt it with it showing rare I’ll let you no how it goes later!

Yeah that's fair, the fear of getting lower quality than what you were planning is very real and we've all had it xD
But aocarmory has been 100% accurate for me so far. Last night I made a leg glorybound mace with epic copper/leg iron/leg willow and 1618 quality. Aocarmory said the breakpoint was 1504 but I just wanted to be safe cuz these mats took me weeks to gather.
In game UI showed epic result ofc cuz not all mats were legendary, but after you hit craft the result is as expected

I purchased Ashes of Creation on Steam in good faith, like all of you.
A game should not be released on Steam, money collected from players, and then canceled or abandoned one or two months later.
If the game is no longer actively developed or its future is seriously compromised, players should be fully refunded. If development has stopped, there is no legitimate reason to keep the players’ money. The lack of a refund clearly looks like a misleading practice — and many would reasonably call it a scam.
Steam should not allow this kind of situation to happen on its platform. Players should not be the ones paying the price for poor project management.

the steam release has its boundaries to it too, because steam as platform with 400+ million users CANT allow them self to be a part of any software publisher dramedy that occurs from time to time, like now with Intrepid, they do BIG deals with software publishers incuding Intrepid with HARSH rules to obey before they are allowed to get on steam, one of those is that aside the steams cut off of 30% of the earnings there is ALWAYS backed up a huge portion of the earnings of a SW publisher before it is forwarded to him for reasons of possible scandals and repay actions and so on, that means ANY buyer since Dec13 on Steam at least has a relatively high chance to get its money back for the payment of AoC ! fingers crossed

The developers have largely been MIA since steam release other than restarting servers periodically. • CA state filings (Superior Court of California, #37 - 00028199) in which Intrepid was sued by 9.7% shareholder YaYa Legacy Trust confirm Sharif was the sole director, CEO, and secretary. @marsh vigil the idiot Ashes Of Creation drama goes nuclear as the new owners sue Steven J Sharif.

In the lawsuit they claim Steven was:

• Effectively embezzling funds (taking money from investors for his own use)
• Mixing business and personal funds
• Bought a property with Intrepid's funds but when sold personally kept the money
• Used loans as revenue to get bigger loans

This is all obviously just allegations at the moment and are not proven. The lawsuit is TFE Game Holdings Vs Steven J Sharif and John Moore.

Another bombshell happened when an Ashes Of Creation investor, Jason Caramanis spoke with youtuber NefasQS.

He appears to share private texts and conversations surrounding the game.

The texts appear to show many years of Steven and Jason talking with Steven appearing to somewhat "love bomb" Jason when asking for more investment.

We await Steven's side of the story but this all seems incredibly messy at the moment. One investor is set to have lost upwards of $90 million.
