ok, lawless = everyone is flagged for pvp, so risk is around the cornet, if the loot is good it creates an optional area in the map besides the ocean that creates a PVP hgih risk vs high reward gameplay loop that cna be played for hundreds of hours IF THE LOOT is worth it in there, such as rare materials etc. PVEers will be able to hire people to go with them in there, creating for mercenary contracts, guilds will be able to fight other guilds in there, and small scale pvpers will be able to have their fun too.

The market will also be very valuable with whatever resources are in there.

No one would be forced to go there and partake in it but the rewards would make people want to go.

i don't think anyone really thinks endgame loops should be working. I Just think there should be very basic things for endgame. For example, The jundark being Lawless is a pretty simple one. If loot dropped was better quality, Gatherables come up with better quality/spoils - things would naturally happen. It's not really an endgame loop as much as it is just a reason for people to go somewhere

We did it in Age of Conan among other games. A location was picked, it was open door policy and peopole that just went passed it was left to do so.

The way corruption works right now is a bit stupid, if you go corrupted and then someone attacks you, you got 2 choices

1. Defend yourself and gain more corruption, having more items dropping, and if you defend yourself too well 2 times in a row, you then have -90 % stats and then die anyway to the next lvl 10 you meet in your path
2. Let yourself die and give up to whoever attacks you the moment you become corrupted so you dont lose too much

Takes away from being a "corrupted" player, that should be like a thieviing murderer bandit thats dangerous to fight etc, not some dude the system tells "hey man, so you killed 2 players, now instead of 5k hp you got 400 hp, time to finally give up buddy"

The Jundark is a higher level area that is supposed to start at 30-ish and go up to 50, as far as Intrepid has said. It's levelled down to allow us to be there at all right now.

The lawless area that existed will never be a thing. It happened because the underlying Settlement tech for the biome wasn't finished for the area in question. Same thing why Tropics was lawless first, and the Desert. Many people don't seem to realize or understand this.

It is a mix of both. There was a bug that was addressed in this latest update where people who joined the event were perma flagged for pvp or it would come and go as a status well after they had left the event. Their patch notes say they fixed it to what they intend. So while parts of it will be pvp, some of it is pve.

Were the recent bans all handled via an automated program without any individual human input on banned accounts or is this claim inaccurate?

Given your history on not taking action on exploits involving single transactions and handling only the most egregious, the latter being mentioned on the current lists, were actions also taken this time on those that had single transactions with RMTrs?

I ask as some of those banned are insisting publicly and in streams that many of these bans were in error due to a faulty automated cheat/ban system, no individual attention to any of the accounts banned to catch errors, and bans occurred from incidental single transactions with anyone that touched RMT gold and many of the bans are now actively being reversed.

I lost a really nice weapon drop on a server crash/rollback a couple test phases back, it happens.
