When playing on mordred i ran necro Druid and mentalist, that server was chaotic, loved the open world PvP aspect, all the campers outside Tir Na Nog at MagMel lol good times on DAOC

Knight Online had a + system where you leveled your items just like enchanting. Early level +'s were safe with low chance of failure (90%), but as you climbed chances of failure or item loss climbed. You then had to offset with better resources, but still had risk of losing gear.

I've made numerous characters in the game so far, the two that really stick out to me are fighter and tank...I have both to almost 15 now. I'm curious though, both of my toons are similarly geared but the tank seems to just melt stuff faster and better than the fighter. tbh the way I would rework hunting and animal taming is: you can hunt any animal that has hide, scales, or skin. (non-humanoid) just need a skinning knife of the appropriate tier and lvl in hunting. For animal taming - that should be its own branch and animals of all kinds should spawn a smaller youngling version that you can take and slowly train up or breed with other animals. Like they did in SWG.

easy way to farm gold is to find mobs like 7-8 lvls below u and just pull a bunch of them in 20-30 and aoe them down. but people keep wanting to find lv 20 mobs and get white radiant gears that wont fucking sell and recipes that gets trashed by most people
