Yeah and since leveling should take significant time, it might discourage people from playing just based on a visuals perspective (playing that archetype, not the game). Maybe if you had some noticeable change with like every 5 levels or so to show they are also stronger/more put together until you can change their appearance with multi-class

From what I remember of the shadow lord, they only get like a weapon they can summon (rogue main archetype, summoner secondary)

thats what I've been saying... if you add summoner to any class, it should give you summons. Same way that if you add Tank to a class, it should allow you to Tank. But apparently only Tank primaries can main tank (even though nearly every other class has more survivability currently... lol). Same thing for Cleric, if you add Cleric, it should allow you to heal. But apparently only Cleric primaries can main heal. So that makes secondaries all "off-tank", "off-healer", and "off-summons" lmao.

Just do like Rift and make 64 unique classes. Rift has like 55 unique specs, no reason a modern MMO can't do a few more.

Lionhold is not a settlement, it is a static starting area and has none of those mechanics. It does have a storage clerk.

I wonder when if ever they'll fix their low grade servers and update to some that don't force you to sit in an hour queue every time you are near a settlement. The current settlement setup is, only one is ever developed, and it is vassaled with others, so in order to logout or switch characters you need to run 10 minutes into one direction, and swap. Tell me I'm not the only one annoyed by this.

The second continent that as of the rumors and hints being dropped by Intrepid now will come with the second continent sometime after "live launch" focus on the elves and orcs. The Tulnar will have a separate mechanic as to their "starting area"

I have to agree, corruption needs some attention. I think the penalty for dying needs to be removed if you are killed in PvP in general, but also the penalty for corruption is, kinda lame. I think being unable to access towns, your storage, etc. Is a big enough deterant as is.

My issue is mainly with the PVP exp debt and removal of corruption is done by dying or farming mobs with no indication of how many more you have to kill unlike exp debt. The rest of the punishments are fine imo, PVP exp debt and the way you remove corruption is nothing but PVE tedium, I'd rather it just told me "You will be corrupted for 3 hours" or anything else

Yeah, the exp dept isn't a real deterant. You can just grind it off as it is, I think a time limit or maybe a justice system, cough, would be better.

Plus, the exp debt punishes the victim for no reason.

I also think exp debt from pvp is just unappealing at any level.

If you fight someone you are equal to in power and gear, you have a %50 effectively at getting exp debt, that number goes down if you pick on weaker opponents and goes up if you fight stronger ones.

So there is no reason to pvp players your level or higher, but tons of reasons to pvp low level players.

it's cause there's diminishing returns on each turn in from that route so overtime the price drops from groups turning in there..you can either store the crates and wait for reset to get full price, or go to a different settlement like dhurgrum which is a bit less but you might get full value

There are phys and magic block defense stats. You can watch them actively change with the gear. I think if you hold block it'll also show that change

Re-keybind all the the keybinds to the same they are.
For the reel in default keybind make sure you're aware of numlock on/off

Only worth it on tanks and kinda clerics. There's some fun you can do solo'ing even harder mobs as a constitution Bard, but mostly not worth it. I don't remember how block% scales but it helps tanks out a lot when blocking big hits

All goblin hobs have the rally that has them target randomly for about 10 seconds. Pretty easy to interrupt until there are more than 3. If you fail the interrupt, you can just stun them for the duration.

Have you tried grabbing commission quests from boards in towns? you can visit multiple towns and load up, crank out the quests and turn in. Gather while you run around.

There are no big quest lines to follow. That is content that is not in the game yet. Its more a choose your own adventure at this point.

Multiple quests, from multiple towns, gives you 30 quests ez. Off ya go.

If you dont like repetition then grinding mobs in groups wont be fun for you either.
