this is as designed... and I personally enjoy it lol. Lawless zones are pvp areas without the risk of corruption but have a higher reward as a result. e.g. more resources, more rare materials, etc. Lawful just means that if someone attacks you without you fighting back they'll gain corruption which is very negative. Most people wont do this once they figure out they can lose gear if they die and that the benefit it small.

by default you can attack combatants, but early on it was abused by standing in someones AoE to force them to turn purple s oyou can gank them.

the option was added to disable ALL combat with combatants unless you force flag to save people form unwanted greifing.
if you toggle that on you cant attack ANY combatant, its literally that simple.

you toggle it off, or you force flag to enable the damage while inside the lawless zone. its really not that difficult to understand guys.

its not a forced pvp zone. Its a zone where pvp doesn't have corruption penalties. You can still choose not to attack another group. You can still choose to colaborate with another party on mobs for the event for instance. If lawless zone = friendly fire and damage anyone without choice then that would be a shitty system

Find a way to get rich and just buy it off the market. There are ways to make 10-20g an hour which is more than enough to gear you fully in adept. 5g is probably enough for full common adept.

At the moment, people are sperging out rushing around, only doing the most efficient levelling spots, only going to the biggest town, only using the weapon they are told to use. Us solo players will see most things, adventure the whole world.

The whole skill debacle in an MMO is always amusing because it's entirely skewed by time spent playing and resource access.
Most players aren't "better" they are just more geared.

imho it's always been about how big is your guild and how many underlings do yo have pumping mats to you for consumables and wotnot, all other things even. those charasmatic people and leaders of people and streamers they just get stuff handed to them. the dregs essentially try to buy their attention with free or cheap goods and services, so they end up on top of the mound.

People get upset, but waiting for an opportune moment where you will have the greatest leverage to take down a more skilled or stronger opponent, for example they are engaged in PvE, they are gathering, etc. in itself that is a skill. And at the end of the day if you're dead you lose. Doesn't matter how or why.

Yeah it requires lots of dancing around and crowd control to make it work. I dont hate it but it is quite a thing to tackle. Really love that AOC doesnt put kid gloves on

sure the shortbow has a seven hit combo while thel ongbow has a 3 hit combo 3 is less than seven

the duration of the combo is shorter on the shortbow. but actually landing that combo reliably relies on being within range.

if you're going to be within range, wand/focus is better than shortbow
