Just had my first exprience in Anvils of a griefer guild trying to steal/gank from low level players, was Gorrilaz guild player higher level, saw me riding past on mule and started attacking me, im tank and half decent gear even though a lot lower level he must of had bad gear as he cudnt kill me so I didn't react and just kept riding with speed buff.

Even though I got ahead and he could not kill me he would not give up, chased me on mount, took him ages but he killed my mule, knew if I spawned another mule he would just keep chasing and kill that one too so I still didn't fight back as got no chance against higher level.

He took one of my crates and just started jumping around in a circle. In the end I just left with one crate on my back and slow mounted it back and took half the loss. This has completely put me off playing the game or atleast muling again tbh because other than go in a big group there is no counter to this kind of griefing.

funny thing is, right now the main issue isn't the server problems weve had the past few days, its steam account verification because steam is down. The EAC thing has to do with your client installation, because it is installed along side the game when you download it.

and depending on how steam handles file integrity, it might not even be doing that correctly, if it's not relaying the proper files
