Realistically it's because games are made of chunks or "archives", and if something is edited within that chunk, then steam makes you redownload the whole part.

Wipes are based on development needs. Major new content being added to the game that completely changes the balance would warrant a wipe to re-test the early stages of the game.

They have never done a wipe because of a seemingly unfair advantage that an individual or a group gained. It is all part of testing. Tis just an Alpha. Things are far from complete and far from balanced.

You're missing a point here. It's not about being on a guild to run crates. It's about abusable game system that takes away risk from attacking people running those mules. No matter if you're solo or in a big guild this game is supposed to have risk - reward on certain things and right now attackers (same goes to caravans when they were run) have very close to no risk and huge reward

I ask coz we were running a POI in a pug last night and we kept getting flagged for pvp as a group and noticed one person in group kept looting another groups corpses that had died in the POI. Yeah luckily when I was helping a lower level group of players by tanking a poi for them the guy that was looting corpses wasn't even aware he was stealing and causing issues of the group being flagged for pvp. So he stopped and we just waited out the timer. The other group he was looting their dead from either didn't notice or didn't care because they didn't attack us and left us alone.

There's a few in there that look that way to me, but most aren't just random letters. If you suspect a bot, report via a CS ticket. There isn't 24/7 GMs in game looking for bots so any reports are appreciated if you have proof of their botting activity.

im trying to get a great sword, at the moment just the adept codex - you have Divine Flare, Chains, Consecrating Wave, Righteous Blessed Weapon, Judgment, Smite - all of which can do dmg to people, then you have a ton of ways to get out of CC and self heals and shields to keep you alive. Plate healer is extremely tough to beat for melee, and even cloth healer with stamina and dodges can survive.

Try a 2nd sword, put bleed on it for extra dps. Pull mobs with wand, pop a HoT on, consecrsting wave and divine flare for damage and healing. Weave in sword finishers and enjoy. Can add in chains of restraint too for more dps

I fixed the steam error by doing an ip release/renew and can connect again. would recommend trying that.
