I was running 2 common market crates on a basic mule for the first time. I got ambushed by 5 or so and all they had to do was just kill my mule and take the crate it was carrying. My question is what can you do against that? If I tried to fight back i'd just get killed and they'd take both crates. Feels like it shouldn't be THAT easy. I don't mind the whole "abmbush to gain something" type game play but there shoudl be a way to counter it. I guess thats the risk you take running a mule even solo. Not complaining just working though the game play.

Well, it's rare first of all; From what I've experienced and heard of, never seen a mule get attacked. In terms of what you can do is to take slower but less used routes. It's a skill to not be spotted basically.

But to be fair I live in the Anvils up north so it's less people, but you'd think that'd give even less safety.

Goblins, wolfs,frogs,otters can be delt with easily. They do fairly low enouth damage to not be too harmful. This is comming from a tank player so class may very.

Any summoners have a solution for mystics healing opponents in pvp areas? There is no ablilty to turn off heals to non party combatants. So in pvp flage every 3 seconds you have to tab to yourself to heal and if u mess up once you heal them for 1/3 of their hp.

Yeah this makes no sense lmfao, if anything the company is bleeding heavily. With their studio size, production costs and other various expenses there is no way they’re gonna profit anytime soon. They’re not taking the money and running with it, if fails it’s because the profit margins are incredibly tight and they can’t afford to keep the studio running. I don’t understand how this game is considered a scam, they’re not making money on the product lol. I’d take a ton of active subs just to pay their employees costs. Obvs at 1.0 (if it happens) there will have to be some people cut or they’re gonna be in financial ruin.

Try to find market commodity stations in settlements and that's where you can craft commodity crates, it'll need some glint and resources but then if you take it to the NPC near that station in another town you can sell it for silver/gold (also in your inventory hover over the crate and it'll show you predicted prices for where you can take it)

True. Blocking should spend more stamina and reduce damage even further to make sense. Moreover when you hit someone, that guy slowed down by like 20% so it didn't let them escape from you unless they use a skill to do so. That gives skill even more meaning for pvp. New World system was paramount to me.

oh weird, i was on my mount with a crate on my back, then when i finally logged back in i was way back at the crate station without the crate but all the mats i used to make it and sivler i used gone XD

Hi everyone! I need some help. I'm trying to launch the game on Steam for the first time, but when I click 'Play', nothing happens.

However, if I try to launch the game directly from the installation folder, it starts up but I get Error 10 and Error 25. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for the answers!

Yeah that can happen sometimes. It’s something they’ve been working to fix, and made big strides on, but the server stress for the Steam launch is well beyond anything they’ve had so far, combined with some bugs making it worse
