2v2 Randoms I've encountered a certain bots with Gax Bomb in their deck and they play it very randomly often destroying my minions. I am struggling at times to work towards a good attack when my bot team mate robs me of any good momentum by playing these types of cards. I have found other bots will play things that miss targets frequently, seemingly deliberately missing targets on spells and also using up mana the second it's available. It seems like some of these bots are ghosts of previous players who may have been trolls.

The bots in this game are bad and purposely so. They are there to help newer players ease into the game and to help with queue times if necessary.

Bots being bad was never a real issue before 2.0 but for some insane reason they changed it in 2.0 so you can get a bot teammate and this is where the bots being bad become a big issue.

Firstly I think they should just remove bot teammates, it's unnecessary and the negatives outweigh the positives.

If they keep bot teammates then they should prevent them playing cards that do damage to friendly minions i e. Gax, Wheel of Doom, Magma Storm

I agree that if they are going to keep bots in the game they should remove one's that can do harm and or destroy friendly minions as it can and does hinder progress in the game and there's nothing the human team mate can do about it.

Are you sure it was an actual bot and not just the disconnect bot playing a player's deck when they left?

I discussed this with the Devs and there is indeed a bot deck with a Gax in it. They will remove this in version 2.2. Thanks for mentioning this.

I thought it was impossible to have a bot teammate in 2v2.
