I just found 1 card that I had maxed on v1 since a long time ago and now it is not on v2. I wonder which other cards' progressions have not been transferred correctly. The same with several avatars I had and I have not anymore.

this is because some cards went down in rarity, but others went up in rarity
however, you still keep the same amount of copies of the card; the confusion arises when you realize that different rarities require different amounts to max out
cards that went down in rarity (e.g. priestess; used to be supreme, now is common) will be un-maxed now
cards that went up in rarity (e.g. cheese date; used to be common, now is supreme) will refund you a shedload of shards when you claim the rewards for them

you have exactly the same number of cards as before, the requirements for certain borders changed.

the "refund" is given through cards that went up in rarity - since you have cheese date maxed out, claiming the rewards for it will give you:
- the regular rewards you get for promoting it to gold tier
- the excess copies refunded
the excess copies that get refunded will allow you to re-promote priestess back up to gold
basically, all your stuff is still there, you haven't lost anything, it'll just be a bit fiddly to re-goldify everything

if the card had a higher rarity, it was harder to obtain. so, you'd have more cards that used to be commons maxed out, compared to rare/supreme/legendaries
so, you'd have more cards that went up in rarity rather than down in rarity
so, you'd have more cards getting refunded than being un-golded
