Add a toggle for our arena skin being randomly selected

Allow us to pick the arena skin we want to use. It's currently completely outside of our control, giving us any skin from the ones we own.

This can be very annoying when you get arenas that have vastly different lighting than what you'd like, making it hard to see the board and play the game. The only way to avoid this is to stream and get the streamer arena. But that also means you can't pick the arena skins you do want to use. Furthermore, that twitch connection is currently broken, so this solution is impossible.

Actually, is it even random?

When making my videos with folt and Matt, I would consistently get the default arena skin, after having them select it

Very small sample size, but I faced two players twice each, and each of the fights used the same arena both times

Do we use our opponent's selected arena?

Is it based on who is player 1 and who is player 2?

afaik it has been commentated that it's by rarity: higher rarity - higher chance to get picked

only streamer arenas have 100% chance to get picked

but that info is what i remember from about a year ago, so take it with a grain of salt 😐

100% there should be an option to just see your own arena in every game (why else would you buy an arena?)

Welp, "Extra Lights -> Off" seems to take care of it somewhat, still doesn't change how some arenas are darker than others

or how some are a dark, snowy white eyesore

Arenas should be all locally so each player can choose their own or they need good QoL overhaul. It's annoying as hell to play in some arenas with absolutely horrible visibility. Snow arena that makes hovering range barely visible, jungle arena that hides the bottom right area so you can't even see where you need to aim for a unit...

i disagree honestly

i get the issue that it is hard to see like the ones you mentioned but what is the point of buying an arena from store that basically charge rubies (free ones from DLC is a bit different) that only can be seen by a player who owned and use then display on their screen but not the other 1 or 3 players screen...

The only way you can ask for is to have a horrible graphic with empty things, either that or take a grain of salt
