Granguignol the Dusk Dragon and Tearlaments Kaleido-Heart

Kaleido-Hear says it can be SpSummoned if sent to the GY by card effect. Garnguignol says it sends a Level 6 or higher Light or Dark from the Deck or EDeck. Why does Kaleido-Heart not proc? Am I missing something?

Extra deck monsters need to be summoned properly first before they can be special summoned from the gy
