The cerberus drone should have 3 seconds(30m) before firing on the person who launched it, to allow the drone to target someone else, or to get away from it before you take grevious damage. However, you can still fire it and stay near it or just not move and still take some damage, allowing self damage synergies.
For clarification, the drone will move, but can not shoot for 3 second/30m, and only after will it target the closest person/drone

seeing how other drones fit into the game combat, the cerb-drone stands out. all other has a very basic usecase while allowing some advanced technique.
While i see many good usecase for the new drone, I wont try it since im also losing a bunch of HP.
(only refered to BS, but due to minimal similarites between WS-BS, Im sure this could help WS combat too.

the 30mins delay in WS would also give some time to react, seeing how easy it can be to sneak to opponent supports and whatnot.

It honestly seams like a dual laser play more than anything. I mean you can launch it at someone and run but it depends on lvl stats and no one has really leveled it yet

Imo for 30 mins, it is invisible like it is spawning but it moves to destination. That would be more effective than it not targeting you

I didnt find any list on DPH in WS but seeing that its 900+600 at lvl6-7,
I think this mod would work best as block a sector with it in WS for 20h.
Since you would have to burn at least one module to get rid of it with that big potential DPH.

Thats the main problem with laser turret too. It loses a significant HP nad lifetime while setting up. way too long set up time and cerb-turret is the same useless.

if it had the same flicker as the other cerbs have when they come in which delays them a few ticks it would solve this problem. also bonus its untaggable by all weapons, I know I have tested this with many of a hydro rocket.
