Id say a better idea is making more upgrade slots
its a bottleneck to intentionally slow progress and keep players playing longer
maybe it's the other way around, only losing players?
I'm sure some players don't like it and would prefer faster progression but that is not how this game was designed. This game was designed as a marathon, not a sprint. Things are supposed to take a lot of time. If players don't like that type of experience, maybe this isn't the game for them. I'm not saying I like it, just how it is.
depends on credits? wthdym, its miniscule compared to your cap given any level
I didn't understand anything from the message. At the initial stage, there are enough credits to study the necessary modules up to level 8-9. But it takes a lot of time to study the necessary ones. Although there are enough credits.
the cost of upgrade is miniscule - small - tiny , relatively
its small uptill level 12 mods
havent heard anything like this in the last years
level 13 mods take 2mil and level 14 mods take 10mil
excluding few mods like shipment drone
when you reach level 12 and 13 onwards, youre earning like a million or more a day
so it still isnt that much

I doubt op refers to level 12 onwards and even if they do, level 12+ mods take an insane amount of time to research, within that tme you can earn 10, 20x credits more than the cost of research
and I mean, level 12+ mods are like extra, extravagant, much more than necessary
at that point of the game u can stop from planet upgrades cuz if u do that will effect u badlu
badly
its like u are bounded to push 1 planet after every 2 days
planet upgrades take -1ish million per planet for me, planet upgrades cost much more so relatively the cost of research is still negligible
4-5, even 6 million and above can be earned daily due to the scaling of shipments
mine is 1.7mil and i make almost 900k per day
average 900k
