We need a new startype or something like that.

Since the release of Dark Nebula the game has lost alot of variaties in modules and in the overall meta so we need new things or an entire new mode.

This is my idea.

Darkness scanner or so:
This scanner scans for an dark hole singularity system with an darkhole as the middle (who would have guested ???).
Around this dark hole are 4 sectors in every direction for players with asteroids as ways points or better said one more sector than the home system.
The sector with the black hole does big amount of damage to your ship immediatly and sucks it into the middle and is very dangerous. Every five minutes or ten idk this dangerous sector expandes one outwards, so the system slowly gets sucked into it. There are planets around the blackhole with either completly different artefacts with completly different modules or like a scan mechanik for modules. The closer the planet to the middel the better the rewards.

This gamemode also features the Ceberus base ships with everything everywhere (which also take damage from the blackhole) but also new ones like one which knocks back enemys around it and one which spawns drones to defend it. Idk maybe others (write suggestions below).

To make it harder, for the fun factor and the hardness factor this mode also features pvp. There are two different modes then. 1v1v1v1 and 2v2v2 for friends and more fun. The players kill eachother. (ships destroyed by players dont respawn and ships destroyd by blackhole dont too. Destroyed by cerberus respawns). The cap would be the same as rs. Players who kill other players get their rewards like the scan or artis (mentioned earlier on their ship) but also a bounty for other players for more rewards.

Here are some of my module ideas:

Weapons:
Knockback Wave: If a ship gets closer than 80AE too the ship it gets thrown back, takes damage. This ignores any modules like barrier. It can also target drones and heavy rockets.

Blackhole gun: Shoots an very small black hole with travel time, it does damage in a radius of 10ae and sucks the enemy into the center for 1,5 seconds

Buckshoot: This gun deals more damage the closer the enemy is, it has a swap time of 2 sec

Transport:

Fast picker: Artifacts, relicts and scans (mentioned earlier) are % faster (Passiv

Ranged pickup: The transport ship can now begin the loading process from ae away (Passiv

Teleport: For an set amount of Hydrogen the ship can send one arti, relict or scan back to the warp gate (CD 5min

Deflection: The first hit this transport ship takes is reflected back to the enemy (Passiv CD 5min

Artefact Drone: Starts a drone which collects artefact automaticly and then teleports back to your home. Artifact bonus cannot be applied to any artefacts this drone takes and if it had any before, they get deleted (the buffs to not make it op af)

Miner:

Miner drone: Old module, miner sends out an drone which does mining for it in a ws (CD 5 min

Water boost: The mining ship uses it water reserves, to start a boost which takes the water and makes the ship go much faster

Survival Messuares idk how its written: The mining ship connects to an allie fighting ship int he range of 200ae for its entire hydrogen reserve. Every damage the ship now takes is done to the fighter for one minute.

For the alliance: 50% (upgradable) of the hydro reserves are immediatly applied to the planet which you choose, after that the miner blows up dealing ... damage. Only for ws

Shields

Range shield: An shield bubble is build at 60 ae distance from the ship. The shield is split into four parts, each with it own hp. Any damage taken from over 60ae like rockets or shoots are applied to the shield in that direction, any damage under that is applied to the ship.

Heat shield: This shield can and will only tank damage taken by stars. So i tanks the bs and the blackhole in my concept

Decaying shield: This shield tanks % of damage, the rest is applied over 10 sec to your ship to survive one shoot abilities etc.

Pushing shield: This shield blocks % amount of damage and applies a full immunity against any movement abilities like barrier, bind and the blackhole from my concept

Fighting

Push: Pushes your enemy 30ae away, range is 100 ae

Virus: This module takes out one of the enemy modules for xxx time, it can also deactive the shields or the gun

This is our fight: Makes you and the target of this module go into a "fighting" mode, every other ship will ignore the two ships and the two will ignore any other ship

We are strong: Any shield activated by you or an ally now also tanks 10% of the damage any allied ship takes. Doesnt protect miner ships or transport ship

Not here: Blocks a radius of 200 ae for any teleports to go there

Come here: Pulls all ships to your ship for 2 sec

Cerberus Control: You can control a cerberus ship for xxx sec, it counts as an ally for that time

Reset: Resets any cd times on your ship but also emps it for xxx sec

Drones:

Allied drone: This drone deploys an allied group shield

heat drone: This drone overcharges its one systems to deal an area of damage 80 ae but also damages itself

Conversion drone: This drone has low hp and takes any modules, guns and shield applied to your ship. Your own ship enters an deactivated state while the drone is active and cant be move or attack. The drone can be freely controlled and can use any abilities. If the drone gets destroyed, all cd gets converted to the fighting ship, the drone itself gets douple the coldown and the ship takes % of damage

Idk what to name this drone: This drone deactives all cerberus ships in the sector, they cant attack but also cant be attacked

I would personally love this type of gamemode and hope it would bring a good multiplayer, fast paced pvp but also rewarding mode for the community. My goal with the modules idea is too bring more things the player would choose, to make for better teamplay in ws and too make any ship more diverse in the modules and meta. The focus for the modules was more pvp, cause the gamemode would be late game and i think late game players would enjoy a nice session of pvp. Also with a friend ...

exactly what i was thinking, and even if the modules are a bit op, balancing would create so much more diversity. Right now there are only like two three good guns etc

And here I wanted a defender style star 😂.

4 players spawn in the middle of a map with a giant planet to load from.

Cerb spawn outside and move towards center.

Players have to gather and gtfo before waves get too intense and there's a full wipe.

another idea, a bigger star system where your corps fight. a game can be started when the corp members donated enough artifacts to the corp, a game can be started by spending these(these arts can be used in game to build ships and bases,or conevert it into a temporary bonus for the corp(normal rs bonus like ws or idk)). (it takes "research to find these"). the participaring corps have a single base to build ships, and research more for better ships and modules. or alternatively use the resources for the temporary red star arts % bonus.
in the game, the builded ships (same battleship, transport and miners-the ws relics system but with arts) will collect material for the base to use or build more bases(better access to the system, strategic defense point (the base could have its own deffense and can be destroyed by other corps).
all players have to be limited to control their own ships, so the corp leader cant solo the whole thing.
i would prefer a longer game, so only one login/day is necessary. and instead of timer until nova, the end of game would have to be limited by resources in the System.
its like a discovery, colonization game, the inveseted resources have to be managed so it worth doing it/donating more, but still have the strategic and timing fun of RS,BLS and WS partially

i dont want to send my own ships in a new game, when regular ws takes it away, also dont want to split my attention. in ws you focus on fighting, checking it as often as possible. here you can just look at it daily, and figure out with the team where to expand
