What if it can be detonated early?
maybe, but i worry about macros for instant detonation
Destiny was instant, now its 3 seconds.. 😉
we already have a neutralized damage feature on it, just increase the ranges of both neutralized and the normal explosion. Chain Ray + Barriers probably gun it down or something anyways
i had played with lvl 9 omega rocket in blue stars before, still not sure how to properly use this thing honestly
destiny just has more reliable use case than omega
Neutralized damage in close combat might be the only way, but why not destiny then
we got to make it to the point you can say 'why not omega rocket instead of destiny'
I feel like it should have a lot more. It feels like its ment to act kinda like a tactical nuke, but it has a horrible radius and damage, and the only way you can even reliably even hit anyone with it is throwing it behind you. Theres no reason why a weapon that useless is placed at the same area as suspend, one of the most useful utility mods there is
I vote for passes through barrier, 160 au area damage and increased damage across all stars.
Or for a more spicy change, cancel the damage upgrade and let omega kill alpha shield users.
Passing though barrier would make it delta rocket but without a waypoint.
I think a way to preserve uniqueness would be to have it explode on a timer. If it stops moving for 10 seconds (or maybe 5s, or even 2s) then it detonates at full strength.
This would give the option to neutralise or to run, thus creating a dilemma for the players as yet using a barrier.
You could even barrier an enemy's omega over a third player.
increase blast radius and make give it a timer
if u launch it at a waypoint 10s away, it got stuck in barrier after 5s travel, then in 5s it will initiate the explosion without having to reach the waypoint
or waypoint 20s away, barrier'd instantly, 20s later it detonate
Making destiny not a damage mod would do that..
