High level player should not be over penalized by researching lower level arts. They miss out on current level art modules, but in turn research lower stuff faster. Like current is always 8 per day. So researching a level 7 purple should be like 2.5 hrs max

Letting higher level players research lower-level artifacts more quickly will encourage them to grind lower level stars instead of challenging themselves with higher/level-appropriate stars. It also means higher level players get to choose to progress some of their mod research faster than lower level players, which is unfair on the lower level players and makes it harder for them to catch up with people who have been playing the game longer than them.
I would counter-suggest the opposite: That lower level artifacts in fact take longer to research, to encourage players to play red stars appropriate to their scanner level ... except that in turn then makes the decision over when to upgrade your scanner become something to worry about ("Are my mods good enough to cope with the new level?", "Am I going to be messing up my research process for a while?" etc)
In conclusion: I believe the current system of the same research time for all levels of artifacts (beyond the first few) is fine as it is right now

So why not give them the provision to research those slightly faster

Also, i see that you assume very fast lower art research speed… no. I said it, it is up to andrea. This would not be much faster like 20%
Because it just doesnt make sense to not be able to research them faster it is weird.
With the new system in place, there are 6 fuking categories to get 100k bps on across the board (some 66k)
Even with AB15 grinding non stop it takes years. I think andrea have very poor vision in this.

If going from TH1 to TH 16 takes 3years, RS1-RS11 is easily 2 years, with RS11-12 being 2-3…
All limited by caps. And bps are another very very bad story…

A player can be R12 all planet lv64 and still not maxed
