Battery needs its targeting switch delay reset to zero. That would make it more viable.
If anything, give me back my 5 target option for MBatt

So single target weapons are actually viable
Drs cerbs should scale a bit with rs levels
Battery was op back in Early Access, lvl 10 did 1200 damage and had no target delay, so they nerfed it and put 600 damage, 2s target delay... Has been the same since.

Massbatt is already severely nerfed from the moment that we started playing dn.
Less dps and half the targets.

Ahh. I think Buff Laser Turret would fit that bill
If Laser Turret was actually good enough to be deployed to shoot down sentinels and projectiles, it would serve this purpose, and other weapons would be viable
Battery without target switch delay made Mass Battery mostly obsolete. I'd like to see the current MB vs Battery where Battery has a 1s retarget delay rather than 2s as that's the same as Barrage which makes Battery obsolete vs groups.
Mass battery being the clearly most effective weapon is boring. Make the other weapons worth installing without ships miserably dying
No weapon that can shoot projectiles and sentinels down without a bunch of maneuvering will ever be obsolete.
Retarget delay of any kind kills Battery. Getting rid of the retarget delay will not make Mass Batt obsolete.
It’s a stupid mechanic
Adjust damage values if that’s even necessary, don’t shoe in mechanics that kill their viability
In DRS, target switch delay will always cause ships to take Bomber neutralize damage, and get shredded by ghosts. That alone is silly
The fact that Mass Battery is the only weapon that can deal with one ghost swarm without taking copious amounts of damage is utterly ridiculous
