Playstation Chat problem

The other player in my corp as well says the chat is broken only star system chat for RS,YS,WS as well as other players YS

For me too, i see the Chat from the YS of another Player everytime i visit his YS and it dont reset, so i still see other chats when i switch back to my YS and still from there in a RS or DRS... Then Sometimes i cant see what i wrote in DRS, Just after a relog and cause the very long loadings of Chat, i cant ping! Cant reach the ping Button, even not with Triangle Controller Button.

Yeah it can be pretty frustrating haha can never tell if or what people say in RS but it does go to bottom eventually

I noticed on my phone when I first start the game my yellow star chat starts somewhere in the middle? Maybe this has something to do with it.. its way faster on a phone than console in my opinion to scroll to bottom

Cant say much about Phone, but yes, its way faster then on playsi.

New Chat Bug for me today...
I wrote something in a YS of one of our Corps Members, few Minutes later i restart the Game and then what i wrote suddenly stands 5 Times in a row in our Corps Chat... And no i was'nt using copy paste...

You can delete messages or well idk if it works on PS haha

Also that multi message you sent may have only shown for you?

🤔 cant find a function to delete messages in YS Chat or elsewhere.

Other Corps Members saw the wrong multi Messages too, i asked for it.

I think just scroll to a message then press x

Its also not every time you re log. Its everytime you load screen so swapping back and forth from RS/YS at least for me.. the chat being weird*

Checked it - I can delete every Message in my YS from everyone, one by one, but not in other YS and Corps Chat.
So this dont solve the problem.
Yes, so weird that switching between Stars and open a Chat, sometimes it loades and loades and loades... whole Chat from 300+ days ago...

Lol I have a lot of messages I would have to delete maybe make a “ALL” selection so you delete all at once?

Yeah and pretty much with every load screen the chat reset and loads again and again lol

Not possible on phone nor on playsi. Or should this be a tip to the Devs?

And mostly the weird loadings are from other ! YS, which messages are seen in RS / DRS too, so still not solvable for ourself🫤 Think its a synch / server site thing...

That would only be for YS i guess but then if you deleted all they would no longer show in RS/WS?

But YS chat only shows for certain period. When it reloads in PlayStation it shows all from long ago? I believe but not sure

When i switch to another YS then mine, the Chat load, when i switch then to another, mine or whatever YS, the messages from the YS before are there... And then the ones of the switched to YS... And still there in DRS, instead of an empty Chat.
I understood you have the same problem, am i wrong?
Dont know in WS, was'nt playing WS for long time.
And no, i won't delete hundreds of my YS messages, i Just Hope for a fix. I paid some money, this is a Game, i wanne have fun, Not work🫤

White star acts the same I feel like it just refreshes every time you load screen for some reason

Luckily I’m not this guy if he played on PS I think all of these would show up in WS/RS. I’ll do RS later to show what that looks like this is diplo ys chat .. i think not even in order on time either

I’m not sure if this is happening on Xbox they dont play console one in corp plays PS and it is happen to them every time too

Public RS.. no one else can see messages only owner of account

Every time you load screen it refreshes. Pretty sure every single time but sometime the messages are different at least?

Pinging in Chat is broken too. Its in the Chat, so i speak it out here...
You just can reach the Ping button when Chat is empty or you scroll the whole Chat up to top, then most times its functioning with ➡️ or 🔺Buttons on Controller. Otherwise its just luck to reach it, can cost ships in DRS and is very frustrating.

You CANNOT ping on PlayStation

The chat still refreshes I believe but only when you first start up. If you close app it will refresh again

You also cannot “screen shot” a place and post to corp

Easiest solution whenever you open chat menu you get a cursor you control with joystick but they will never add that

Can be the same cursor as they have already

Thats wrong, cause i did like i said, but thats just an emergency solution.

In my opinion the easiest solution is there, just buggy... When it correctly work with triangle button and Control Pad to the right, it would be faster than Cursor.
Otherwise... Just add ping function to buttons L3 or R3.
