Second weapon slot

Someone thinks that second weapon slot would be OP, but it won't.

In hades galaxy exist one more nation: Paladins. Paladins are somewhat neutral. In Red Star level 7 will be one planet surounded by Paladin forces in their sector and Cerbus forces in theirs. On the planet will be secondary weapon. (Not the artifact). Player must defeat Paladins&Cerbuses on way in and on way out.

Paladins are one trait of people that remained neutral and fought only when they must have, with their power they owerwhelmed enemy. They focused on science.

Secondary weapons are less powerful and has less damage
For example: Forcefield, Laser Blasters, mini Battery

How would one obtain a secondary weapon slot?
BS upgrade or you have to collect something to unlock the slot?

Last BS upgrade gives u a second drone slot f
So a second weapon slot, when would it be introduced to a player?

@tall urchin When you click at weapon you will be greated with bifurcation of weapon slots. The BS's have it from start beacos we (the players, i dont know how hades star nation is called) were prepearing to "steal" their technology from start

(bifurcation) is spliting in half. I meant there will be 2 slots for weapons once you click at weapon

I’m not necessarily opposed to a second weapon slot, I like the idea but I don’t think that the claim that it’s not OP is very fair if you are having to add a new class of enemy. Obviously a Chainray with Mbat would be epic, but I guess I fail to see how your suggested “secondary weapons” are that different from a module

But as he said at the top sounds like these weapons do less damage and some are unique

Ok, what if rather than adding a second weapon slot we get a combat mod that lets you put in ANY mod but it’s say 50% duration/dps. Can be a weapon, shield, drone, hell even a duplicate combat mod if you want.

Another passive support mod would be awesome to like a small speed boost or you take less damage but slow down a little

But i think that ally/regen shield would be too OP, or 2 drone squads with max lvl BS wich adds one more drone slot so in final 3x4 drones

Shoot why not any number of weapon/shield/combat mods in any slot at any time. But give the cerbs a perm alpha shield so it's not OP....

Who helps clear your YS in the beginning? The “cutscene” if anyone remembers? The paladins are the true owners of the Lone BS? 😂
