there may be one tick where a 0hp ship can be seen to still exist, but dies on the next one
We’re talking about the chain ray turret. Takes no damage at all, very much inside the destiny range, and no enemy blast shields in play.
it's got to be some weird stacking issue, either on the turret side or on the venger side, that derails visual range calculations
Even if it is, the dock point of the asteroid is inside destiny range as is the graphical edge by quite a bit
we have encountered targeting not in line with visual range when a turret is spawned at some point and there's weird stacking shift visually but the internal calc is different
