there are possibly other options to check out (like vpn) but yeah, not much to be done i guess

i'm grinding elo for the DTM and it's impossible if i keep losing this generational amount of points randomly

It causes issues in server itself if connection is lost for too long time. Makes everyones experience worse
Just find a way to route the cable and you should be good then

i understand what Ville is saying, if i had the restored elo from the beginning i'd have gained slightly less during the next races (that should only count a 30 points loss tho as the second time was the latest race i did) i'd say it is reasonable to hand some sort of refound, seen the amount of points lost and time put in, especially if you say it's not like something it's forbidden...
So please, if we can do anything at all about it let's do it 🙏

Keep in mind that everyones rating is connected. If your rating woul be recalculated, that would mean that every drivers in that race meeds recalculating and the races you and those did after need calculating and so on. It escalates really quicly and se drivers/results involved in calculating could be thousands already. So it will not happen

i was more proposing to just hand in the some of the elo lost if not all without recalculating everyone's elo that should make everything a lot easier
and even with the calculations made, it was done before so it's a possibility

it's not for the disconnections per se, it's for the fact that it's going to take me at least 15 hours to get everything back

elo is connected to everyone. you can't just insert 30 points, that doesn't work like that^^
