#stuttering with DXVK after raceroom Q3 2025 update release

What resolution are you running? I am at 5120x1440 with 5800x3d, 4070 ti super and getting 110-130fps in multiplayer without any dips. This is with all maxed in graphics settings running in dx9. Just wondering that why would you need to use dxvk?
Do you use any kind of webhud? if yes, try to disable this one for testing purposes and check the framerate again.
update: For vulkan it is in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\GLCache
if you are using dxvk.
let the game run for sometimes. urn the game in different tracks ( to let it make new cache) then try again and see if it improves the performance or not.
Hi I’m running at 7680x1440 all maxed out and with a frame rete between 100-130. However with collab api i can run at the same setting up to theblimit of refresh rate of my monitore so i can run at 165fps…much more then with directx api
No i don’t run any webhud
Ok I will do thanks. The strange thing is that I never had a problem with raceroom in volkan mode so far. This is the fiere time ever
with the amount of change they did on graphic engine level and optimization done on driver level by gpu vendor to have better performance for older engine, there is chance to see something goes wrong.
There were also someone on directx mode face this problem and clearing the shader cache gives back the performance.
If it does not work, you need to spend time and troubleshoot the issue and find what causing the strange behavior.
Look at the bright side, you can make it to drive your car.😁
It is really strange. It gode smooth for 1-2 minute a then it got stuck at 10-20fps and it remains like that unito i don’t exit the game. The graphic card is at 100%
I will try to clean the cache
Ok, running triples explains why you need more fps. I know this is not answering the question you are looking for, but as dxvk does not support 8x SSAA, you could drop that to 8x MSAA in dx9 for similar image quality that dxvk can offer and gain some fps.
