Apparently, there's a glitch in the leaderboards that wipes out a previous lap time everyrime you start a challenge. I you set a slower mark after your best the system saves this new regsiter. If you don't set a valid laptime, the system removes you from the leaderboard.
Noticed this on the MX5-Hockenheim National combo.

i relaunched the combo, did not set a valid laptime, my time is still there but gonna wait some more
i relaunched the combo again, set slower time, in theory time should change to slower one

Thanks for checking it. Don't know what else I can tell. Noticed this when qualifying for the RCL25 (Hockenheim National-Mazda MX5), and I know some other folks have experienced it. Maybe @lavish lagoon can provide further info

Hi all, yeah I had the same issue last Friday, with my first lap in a session I saw the message that I registered a new best time, with a worse time than the old one I had.
There si nothing to fix for me as I did a a new fastest lap in the following tries, but I'm happy to help if I can

The site leaderboard works fine, it seems to be the in-game leaderboard which is overwriting user's times. As you can see I'm second on this leaderboard, but in-game it's overwritten with a slower time.

Repeated the procedure which was: challenge a faster driver, do a couple of invalid laps, and then a slooow flying one
@fresh meadow web still shows the one you screenshooted, but this wasn't my fastest either

can you actually trigger this issue? maybe what you saw was one-time issue with the game's cache server when it "forgot" that you did a faster lap and now returns your previous best lap

I did trigger the issue yesterday. See my 23.11 message. I'll try to do it again tonight, both in this combo and laguna seca (I've got a laptime registered there since a while ago)

I did some laps this morning. This is what I learned:
--Web browser and in-game leaderboard showed both 41.518
--My ghost however was not the 41.518 but that of of 46.258 (I know because I heavily waved there to set a really slow time)
--Raceroom saved my laptime (around 44) and continued to save until a 41.7x. Then saved no more, as I wasn't improving.
--This new, slower laptime was still visible in-game when I left, but not on web browser.
--I noticed some other web vs game different laptimes. See Xavi Arias, he holds a 1:40.807 laptime on web, but still shows a low 41 in-game

Did a quick test.
In-game overlay now shows my actual fast lap (41.177) on the glitched combo, but insists saving the replay of slower laps (message appears on-screen). However, these times are not shown on the overlay anymore.
Then tryed this combo:

And everything worked as it is supposed to be.
Hope you traced the bug. Enough Hockenheim for me, on the Mx-5 at least 😅

Do you guys see these differences between the in-game and site leaderboard on your end? These are screenshots I just took, of the same leaderboard as my previous screenshots. Nothing seems to have changed. It's been like this for at least a week so it doesn't seem like a normal sync issue. I just hope they keep the highest times when they do fix it!

Before tunnel I figured that out pretty quick yeah. Don't know for sure of other spots.

The problem is, actually the limits weren't patched today, so the wipe was early and will happen probably again 😬
So i would leaderboard different tracks in the mean time
