solution dont mess
so in game go to the car set up menu top right reset steering to defauly : in game settings reset the steering to linear so 50
try to rebind your steering in the game
just set wheel on 900, keep everything default and go to graphical wheel view and check u are on "match setup" and not 180
settings like Animated driver or Steering animation don't affect car behavior, but in this case car behavior seems to be a problem
question is that i have that wheel and never experienced that the slight move goes to max... if is not a wrong visual perception as many have of wheel. This sim is not famouse for cars being overdriving...
so going to max with any little movement... i am afraid seems to be that :S
honestly I don't quite understand what you're saying. also, if you set Steering animation to 180 degrees the result will be a very slowly moving in-car wheel, not a super fast one
if you set vistual at 180 but wheel is on 900... at less than 15º you would be 90º
it would'nt go slower, it would go like a game pad
max to max
you will need to turn your real wheel to its max, 450 degrees, so that in-car wheel also turns to its max, 90 degrees
