Why will nobody help people like me who love these cars & this era of racing with setup? Just some pointers even a generic setup that's better than stock to give us some idea of the way we should be going?

No one helps because "need setup" isn't anything.
You need to provide information like what is your current problem, what do you need from the setup, maybe which corner is your problem or whatever.
And if you are many seconds off pace, setup isn't the way to go anyway.
