#Can no longer change wheel rotation

For your second question, your ffb multiplier is 0, while it would normally be between 1,4x or 2x, so I think that's the answer to your second question.
As for the wheel rotation, I think it depends on either your custom wheel animation or your wheel's steering degrees rotation.
Thank you for answering. I had to turn the force feedback up to 6.5 to feel anything when driving.
Yesterday I had it set similarly to what you say it should be. The screenshot was to show that the arrows had disappeared.
Thanks again 🙂
provide more info, especially what wheel
I have a Logitech GPro wheel. I have only had it a short while and it was working well. Then today when I loaded the game up the feedback was lighter and the in game arrows had disappeared.
By playing around with the settings I think I can get the feel back to what it was but with different settings.
I'm not great with these kinds of things so really appreciate the help.
Have a look into controller profiles and see if your wheel is the activated one. Not having the arrows available in car setup looks as if a gamecontroller, keyboard or mouse is selected as controller profile.
I just had a look. I unplugged the controller and the profile was definitely set to the wheel. I opened a new profile just in case. But it's still the same.
Thanks for the suggestion it made sense and I thought it would work.
Have you tried to rebind steering for example? Here's what I found - some wheels seem to need to be cranked to their limit to be detected (or the axis at least) https://steamcommunity.com/app/211500/discussions/1/4041482209878747420/
Yes I created a new profile just to be sure I have to use a custom ones.
The wheel is fundamentally working, I am just unsure what has caused things to be different. I had everything working as I wanted and then got a curve ball 🙂
I also have Logitech G Pro (PC/PS) version.
You may find this useful if you are also on the PS version of the base.

Thanks for responding. I will have a look through it. I'm on the pc only base but there might be useful info.
I think it will be useful to check what is the (PC only) ID number of the base. It might be useful for @elder pier
The base id is Black PC only: 941-000217
I'm new to posting on here with this issue and not especially pc literate. Some of what was in the link was a bit beyond me.
I honestly have no clue why the ability to change Steering angle could disappear
or why it was there before, in the first place. I always assumed that if the game doesn't have proper information about your wheel it will use gamepad/keyboard adjustment options, so a fixed Steering angle and 18 degrees Steering lock for all car by default (but you're still able to change that)
Thanks, if I ever do anything that fixes it I will post it here to help any others that might have the problem in the future.
if you attach here (or send me via PM) your control profile .rcs file from here: Documents\My games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData\ControlSet
then I'll be able to help you get some of your wheel's information to your game. although that shouldn't be required for FFB to work, but at least you'll be able to see the correct Steering lock for all cars
yeah, the ID is different than for PS/PC version of the wheel
here's the file updated with info for your wheel
put it here: Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience\Game\GameData\General
although when the devs update this file to add more wheels in it, Steam will overwrite it. you would need to put the file back again (if the update doesn't happen to be for Logitech G Pro of course)
@finite tartan could you forward these IDs to devs in case they need it?
Logitech G Pro for PS and PC USB: 3261596781
Logitech G Pro for Xbox and PC USB: 3262252141
I think it is better to ping dev for adding this ID to profile.
I don't know who to ping, but I remember Andi telling me not to ping Alex. so now I ping Andi instead 😁
Maybe, you can add it to that post, so it will be more easy to find 🤔
