Hey Everyone, is there any way to improve your ping? I'm in Australia and it's impossible to get things under 300 with my vpn off. Any settings I can change to make it better?
Cheers!

look for Oceania servers and maybe American ones, these should have lower ping for you than European ones

I can only find two servers that are around 100 and the rest are over 300, I dont understand why i dont have any issues playing other racing games like AC/ ACC, iRacing and AMS2.

different approach. Raceroom has tighter requirements to ping but it allows for more accurate prediction of your opponents positions and better close fights because of that

After testing with Reva it shows that the ping is under 100

It's a pretty cool piece of kit, does take a bit of fluffing around to get it setup but you can monitor heaps of this g's, CPU, GPU usage and temps.

Find it @sudden knot
It ping the guru3d site by defualt. It Need a script to ping the server we connect to report right ping and work.🧐
Is it possible to ping the game server we connect? Does server allow it?🤔

probably not, and it's not the "correct" way to ping it anyway. a ping goes through the ICMP layer (which is blocked on some of the servers) and in-game it uses a different protocol

#

so it could be that the ICMP gives -1 / nothing, or a number between 1-500, while in-game it's a different number

There isnt really a lot of races outside Europe which kind of makes the game not worth playing which sucks because it really is a great game even before the update.
