#Vsync Not Working

What does it do exactly?
Nothing! The fps does not get limited to my monitor hz (60) when it’s on
It’s at around 160 with it off, and the same with it on
Also updating the GPU drivers did not fix it
Check, if you didn't set somewhere FPS limit
I did, I have an AMD GPU, and the setting (Radeon Chill) to limit gps is set to 60 min 61 max
And still it goes above that?
is it set on in game ? if its set off , and in your gpu software is it set to overide game settings ?
I’ve had it all the ways, vsync on/radeon chill off, vsync off/ Radeon chill on, and both on. Nothing worked
I would try to reinstall GPU drivers, preferrably clean reinstall. just in case
Okay, I’ll do that tomorrow
Here's what happens when i try turning vsync off or on. the game freezes and never responds, I've tried waiting 20 minutes twice.
the black screen is not what I see, i just see the menus till i have to kill the game via task manager
AMD cards can react weirdly when you change video settings in Raceroom. but that shouldn't prevent these settings to work...
I have an AMD card and changing video settings isn't prevented by anything
I know Radeon chill work for me. i'm not using vsync but Enhance sync and it work.
@naive jetty On game side you can enable vsync in game by editing config file if it helpful
On AMD side check and see if by chance you did not enforce your setting on game browser instead of game itself. take screenshot of setting and post it here
where is the config file?
Documents\My games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData\graphics_options.xml
change it then run the game
