Hey All, i’m new to the game. A month or so ago, I tried to participate in the nsu tts challenge at suzuka, but never qualified. Is there a lap threshold that must be crossed for your yikes to qualify or is it something else’s?

As long as you set a laptime, you are good.

i think there is some misunderstanding here, like eg every lb ends with a race or something 🤔

leaderboard challenges are competitions to set the fastest time, setting a lap places you on the LB with a slight delay. It does not get used to qualify for a race or special event unless stated otherwise.

There are also leaderboards for every track and car combo, those are just for bragging rights. You enter these through singleplayer in the game

No misconception, I know that the leaderboard challenges are merely time attacks. I don’t have time in my schedule atm the moment to race against people so I just do those to get adjusted to VR and sim driving.

I’ll give it another shot sometime this week, and i’ll see if I find success.

but usually there's no such thing as "qualifying" for anything in competitions, unless it's a special one like we had with Racing Prodigy or "Beat a DTM pro" a couple months ago

some competitions are tied to an event race, like FRX22 at Suzuka, but even then it's just a time attack to try the car and maybe some bragging rights, the race itself was open for everyone, you only needed to fill the form to confirm you want to race (if you have the car and the track)

but most competitions are just time attacks (either with small vRP prices or without them) that have the same combo as Ranked racing servers

there was no NSU event race recently

Yeah, my bad on the qualifying. I really meant for my times to show up and “qualify” on the leaderboards

ah, so you didn't see your name on the leaderboard after completing valid laps? that's not normal
