Came back to playing RaceRoom after a few months today. Ranked servers acting really annoyingly, I've been kicked out of servers quite a few times seemingly without any reason. It happened 3-4 times during practice and quali, and once right at the race start costing me loads of points. Are the delveopers aware? It's really annoying and makes the game really no fun. I'm No. 1 ranked player in the USA, I know how to set up + operate the sim and have been playing with RaceRoom for ages - just saying before get rookie advice. Any support, suggestion or info is very welcome. Thank y'all!

do you play on servers in your region?
No, as there's no active server in my region. My ping was well below the limit though.
- Aren't you from USA? Where are you from?
- Can you test your ping with this site when you plan to start racing?( not bad if you test multiple server from inside and outside your country( for checking the quality of your connection):
https://www.meter.net/ping-test/ - If possible then do the overall ping test for routing.
https://www.meter.net/tools/world-ping-test/
send all result if possible. - Try to do continues ping with site outside your country in cmd, ( for avoiding inside network routing) when you are racing and see if there is ping hike in your ping or no.
Also sometimes If modem stay on for too long then it will sometimes make ping unstable.
Try to turn it off for some min ( 5-10) and also disconnect the adaptor from wall ( If there is other network hardware then do this to them also) and see if there is any effect or no.( and check the plug not lose for any reason.)
Maybe you have incorrect filters, there are definitely American servers online. But yeah in general: lowest ping best result. What pings do yiu get in the multiplayer browser?
Have you seen a message at the top of the screen to say that the ping limit has been exceeded?
This has happened to myself several times. Even though I have played on the same server on numerous previous occasions without any problems whatsoever.
In my instance, after some head scratching and investigation I subsequently discovered that the problem was this:
My mobile phone contract gives me unlimited data usage. Therefore I use my 'hotspot' on my phone to connect my pc to Steam and RaceRoom.
This worked absolutely fine initially.
The problem with the ping limit began to occur towards the end of the month.
What had happened was that my mobile service provider has a 'fair use policy'. So although my data is unlimited, once I have used a certain amount, the service provider then reduces my Internet speed. This reduction can be enough to make my ping speed in excess of some of the server limits. But it does depend on what server I am using.
It might sound silly, but I began to 'tether' my phone to the pc via a short, high quality/speed USB cable and this helped the problem substantially.
Thanks for the answer. I haven't seen any message, just found myself immediately in the lobby without any notification or pervious lagging. I have fiber connection with stable 500+ Mbps speeds on the PC I'm playing. Never had problems previously with RaceRoom, iRacing runs without any issues.
Filters are set up correctly, I can see American servers from other track/car combos, but was gonna join F4 Portimao as it's one of my favorites, it was full grid and had some friends playing online. No America server were running at that point with people joined. I usually have a ping below 100ms even on European servers, below 20ms on US servers.
Ask your friend to send you their replay file you participate and see at the moment of kick what happen to you in race from their view.
Does your car stand still without reason or no.
We were sitting on the grid, it was 10-15 seconds before the race start. On previous occasions, I was disconnected during practice and quali while driving. Happened during first lap, other times after several timed laps. No replays from those. I couldn't figure out any patterns or events that I can connect with.
